Just because he has seen all the tweets doesn't mean he has to respond to all of them, particularly one where a poster proclaimed they'd metaphorically riot against the show should the character of Ted, played by a different actor, continue wearing turtlenecks once the change in actor happens. For the past four weeks- he has made responses to most tweets about himself and his character, and to many about the show. He naturally has built up followers due to general viewer interest in the show and all its actors/crew/writers, but perhaps also partially due to his interactive presence. https://x.com/iamMauriceJ/with_replies However, I do agree with above posts saying that he shouldn't be encouraging/retweeting/whatever any viewer's resentment of the next actor in the role, regardless of whether the viewer was serious or joking.
