As much as Billy Miller was disliked by many as Billy , at least there could be a lightness and playfulness about him, whereas Jason's Billy is just dour and sour.

Of course the horrible writing hasn't helped-remember the soul baring podcasts??

Billy Miller WAS Billy for me. I always thought he was the best Billy. It was the relationship with Victoria that made him unbearable. May be even worst than Phick for me honestly. &nbsp

He and Elizabeth Hendrickson had insane chemistry. Blair/Chuck vibes from Gossip Girl. I was very into it!

Spot on! BM/EH were fantastic together. Eliminating Delia - i'm sure it was attempt to replicate Cassie - was a terrible mistake on so many fronts - it ruined Adam and Chloe for so many years. I'm honestly shocked they didn't have Adam/Chloe hook up with a resulting spawn.

JT's Billy is almost like David Tom's sour Billy. Miller captured Billy as Jill's son and the youngest, spoiled playboy Abbott.

Honestly, because CH has been in most of his scenes, I haven't FF. That pretty much ended after the *touch grass* scene.

Billy needs to disappear for a year, recast younger aka Adam.

Didn't y'all already go through this with TSJ as NuTucker? Look how that turned out. Trevor was clowning it up on-set within weeks. I agree, the characters in these instances (like Cane) simply aren't strong enough.

You know I loved TSJ as Tucker, but I also liked him as Todd. He had real chemistry with Eileen considering I don’t think they ever worked together. Same with the actress that played Audra. But the writing was awful.

Like I said, I think the writing was the primary failure. TSJ can be very good when he chooses to be and can have chemistry with most people, but if the writing isn't perfect and there isn't some control over him it turns into an episode of Nathan For You.

I actually seemed to lose interest in the show when the twist was no longer Damian as the head.

Same. But you know how annoyed I was with that...and continue to be with it. It was great to see a crafty, powerful black businessman and the possibilities were endless just what with we got so far. The fact Dumas was an alias. The fact Holden was a decoy. The fact Dumas-as-Damian was already ten steps ahead of everyone. I knew eventually he would have to match wits with Victor. But it was set up that it might have interesting to watch with Damian as the Head. The actor can act and is attractive as sin. But I guess we can't have nice things. :(

He really did. And it's HARD to find a romantic partner for Eileen that can match her. He did. He was just let down by the writing.

If Billy Flynn is Cane and Dumas, this makes no sense. How long has Dumas been creating his vast fortune? Doesn't seem like it would happen within the time Cane has been offscreen. Had he started when he was in Genoa City? Or did he acquire wealth some other way and just grab up companies to throw together as a greater one? If the writers want to make him Cane, I guess that's potentially okay. Dumas however is ridiculous.

I agree with others that I enjoyed this story when I thought Damian was going to be the head of this new corporation and mix it up with others. I lost interest as soon as it shifted to this Dumas nonsense.

Personally, I've never liked Tucker. Of course, I was never a fan of TSJ on OLTL either. So that's probably why.

I really can't believe they would be bringing Cane back.

What would be the point?

Many more story possibilities with a brand new character who can create alliances, romances etc without any baggage.

Thanks @dragonflies for posting!  I see Christel Khalil, Billy Flynn, and Mishael Morgan.

Another copy here, just in case the tweeted image vanishes later.

^ That came from Elizabeth Hendrickson's ig stories today June 5.

So either Chloe is part of the Dumas storyline, or Hendrickson was taping the same day for a different storyline.

And yay that Mishael is still taping!

I’d much rather Dumas turn out to be Tucker than Cane to be honest. It makes no sense to me why they’d make the mystery person Cane .. and a recast Cane to top it off? Who’s gonna care about this?

A peek at the "Dumas" set in "France".

The two gentlemen in black shirts were visiting the Y&R and B&B sets and CBS Television City -- as guests of a Y&R crewperson.  This pic is from the visitor IG account (Link)

Uploaded to IG on June 6, 2025, but the photo may have been taken any time in the past week or two.
This shows that this "France" set is/was being used for quite some time.
That fits with the Dumas invitation mentioning an "extended stay".
