Members skiman12082004
I love that we have a 4th soap. I never thought we would see that again. I, personally, haven't smiled this much about a soap. I will accept these first week numbers, but I need BTG #1.
Members Alan
I know the demo numbers are more important, but I wish BTG had beat GH in total viewers, just for bragging rights. They were so close!
Members Contessa Donatella
For some of us right now is a kind of a delicious dilemma. We want GH to continue to be on the air. (Which is not to say that we do not have critique because we do.) Then, we also are dying for BTG to succeed & to do it to a large degree. ??? We now have a fifth soap.
Members skiman12082004
Yes, I should have specified on broadcast television. My intention wasn't to exclude DAYS. Members te.
The daily breakdown is encouraging. It stayed above 0.20 all week and while it hit a low on Friday, so did the others in the CBS line up. Shame daily total viewers weren't included.
Members Contessa Donatella
OIC DAYS being on a streamer & not linear. Got it now! LOL, here I was being so amazed we finally got to see both TVs & HHs AT ALL!!! Possibly I am far too appreciative of crumbs. Amazing, how very close!!!
Members Chris B
It did beat GH in delayed viewing which I do think is important since they use those Live+3/7 ratings to determine if a show is a success. I also am super pleased with the streaming numbers. I just hope we don't see it drop in upcoming weeks.
Members te.
I mean, it'll drop because the premiere numbers will have inflated this week a bit. Hopefully we're talking more about a drop to maybe 1.7m viewers on average with maybe 0.25/0.35+-ish average in W18-49/W25-52. It could then build from there.
Members Contessa Donatella
Hmm, I feel sure it will have a drop off.
Members Aragorn
I will assume GH never made it over two million viewers in the time that they stopped giving viewership numbers.
Webmaster Errol Posted yesterday at 12:06 AM Webmaster Share Posted yesterday at 12:06 AM During the week of February 17-21, 2025 General Hospital averaged 2.048 million viewers, which is the first time we got wind of the show's ratings among Total Viewers and we believe the first time since early last year the show had done more than two million viewers. This is shown in the report Toups did, as well as here: https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2025/03/daytime-broadcast-ratings-total-viewers-households-february-24-28-2025
Members Aragorn Posted yesterday at 03:32 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 03:32 PM The Joss WSB storyline must be the thing that caused viewers to go up.
Members Soapsuds Posted yesterday at 03:46 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 03:46 PM It was Lucky getting stabbed by Cyrus and Joss shooting him.
