I thought it was odd that yesterday's episode has not loaded on my system. Now that I see today's has either. Well...I guess seems like either Paramount or CBS is on that crap again and finding ways to get that stupid CBS player some numbers so let me see if it has been updated to something that will play since the days of me struggling with it during a good period when I used it to watch Y&R.

Introducing Anna....Chhhiiiiiilllleeeeeee!!!!

My girl is giving the OGspacer.png

Hayley was awful. Really bad. Naomi wiped up the floor with her. The hits just kept on coming. Hayley again blows it. She's just not up to the level some others are. Face it!

Smitty & Hayley were today's disappointments.

Maybe they'll have better days tomorrow.

Solid episode but Hayley what a stupid hoe she is!! Hayley defending her husband's business toxic environment was sickening.

I have a strong feeling that tomorrow will also not feature Derek/Ashley/Andre... and truthfully.. I haven't missed any of those three characters.

Derek and Ashley are the weak links of the main cast so I'm fine with their absence.

I know I shouldn't think this, but I'm missing Andre and his fine self.

Hawthorne Sr. really does look (and sound) exactly like Overton lmao.

I don't mind the senior Duprees being very famous. I do find it silly when they just keep sitting around and talking about it. I'd rather see it manifest in plot and new characters. They've done everything but have a breakfast talking about Vernon being the first Black man in space.

That sort of overreach is a concern.

Let's not have the characters be super rich or famous in the real world. Keep them in the Fairmont Crest bubble.

Like Martin wanting to be president. So far we have not seen him at work.

And the Duprees have no visible household staff.

I've mentioned Martin running for president more than once, because it's just painfully absurd. Why not for the Senate or a governorship? That's wild enough when we're not going to see anything that resembles real politics.

They should definitely add household staff at the Duprees. They're using plenty of extras at Orphey Gene's, at that bar, and even at the police station, so why no household help?

All they would have to have an extra placing a vase of flowers on a table and exiting with a 'Thank you whoever' from Anita.

This show is channeling early Santa Barbara's Sophia, with Leslie and her lame attempts at disguising herself.

Also Naomi being mad at Jacob for arresting her mom echoes Eden being mad at Cruz for arresting Sophia.

It's a very realistic touch to the writing. Plenty of women who marry wealthy men will defend just about anything in order to protect the money.

I finally got to watch yesterday's episode. That was so good.

I think the highlight for me was watching the Dani/Nicole dynamic. When you have two good actors, just watching them is like watching a dance. And there were so many good moments from them. I love that Nicole was speaking for the audience really in what Dani should be doing. And I love that Dani got to speak her POV. And yes there was some shrink moments in there, but there was also sister moments cuz Nicole being Bill was hilarious.

Then Naomi vs Hayley...ooooo. I enjoyed every moment of Naomi reading Hayley. All of this time, they had not been in any scenes along. And finally? I was getting life.

Of course, I was here for Martin vs Smitty. Because he deserve to get caught. My only letdown was that Brandon was back to being stiff after such improvement for me. And how that storyline is currently on the sideline due to the reveal of Tyrell being bullied. First oh no! Second it is good to see a teen storyline that is relatable on a soap again.

And now...OMG SILK PRESS SHEILA!!!!!!!!! GIRRRRRRRRRL NOT ANOTHER WIG!!!! Lord Baby Jesus I hollered. But that said...that whole storyline this episode...go 'head and move! :) I loved that Kat has decided to set a trap for Eva. And I gasped when SilkPress popped up on Kat. The show has done a good job of establishing that SilkPress is dangerous so her interacting with Kat got a gasp out of me. And then Ted showed up and saw. Uh oh now.

And that coda at the end with Eva. That actress really is a find. She had a throughline throughout the episode in her starting to feel conflicted about SilkPress's plan. And to end it on her crying...and it was so well done. Love.

But there was just so many good moments. I think I might look forward to Sara/Judy again the next time they team up on an episode because that was all great.

That said...if my system ain't storing episodes, I guess I'll be trying to watch live today, leaving work quickly.

This show needs Jacob. I hope they won't take a corny turn, and make him corrupt.

I adore the relationship, Nicole and Dani have.

Agree. I always love the good guy (who is usually FOINE) cop that is not corrupt.

Same.

That does not mean that we don't mock them. Because we do.
