I wonder what Martin's "explosive secret"(Vernon's words)is? it's clear Martin doesn't remember

I agree, but Bill is a shark, and she learned from him, so I doubt there's many others that can take him on and win

Im disappointed in Anita. She would NEVER allow Dani to disrespect her like. She'd have stood up, got in her face and checked her. Martin aint scared of his grandparents and thats a problem

Brandon Clayborn (Martin)'s acting is better in this episode.

(random speculation) Sometimes I wonder if Martin is actually Vernon and/or Anita's son, adopted by Naomi?

  • Anita is an angel in white!
  • Dani ordering her juice, but with a splash of vodka for her screwdriver. And Pamela mention but don't see her? Such a shame.
  • Bill mispronouncing Tómas as "Thomas" is annoying, but feels real, too.
  • Naomi is dropped already? Oh, that's not going to do, and it's going to drive her to fight for those three women so much more.
  • Anita knows what's up with Chelsea and has a sense of how Dani is going to react.
  • Martin is losing it. Absolutely losing it. A hot-headed missile rocket ready to launch.
  • The Anita? I love that bag; I will take one of those bags. I love the support Anita continues to have for her granddaughters. It's so sweet. A true family matriarch through and through.
  • Well, Vernon just got an early morning surprise (re: Dani's "freshly squeezed" orange juice). Daddy to the rescue?
  • Bradley is too good for Martin. I've felt this since the beginning. Martin does not deserve the love and support that Bradley provides him, despite how piss-poor he treats the person who's meant to be his life partner.
  • Dani Dupree is brat? Oh c'mon. These two... whew. It's almost too much to handle.
  • Derision? Oh, we've got big people's words, and I love hearing them in-script. It's so enriching, and it's smart.
  • Mike is truly scum; I could tell from the first moment he stepped onto the scene, and she continues to be scum. Everything I hate about men. I wonder if Tómas will flip on Bill/Mike, in a bid to put his name out there as a lawyer in the D.C./Maryland area. It'd be smart for him to do that.
  • Collateral damage? Oh, what is this secret? Oh, and not a request? When Vernon means business, he means business. Whew!
  • That stare from Anita when Vernon tells Martin to "kill this"? That look would haunt me if I didn't do what I was told.
  • Bill versus Naomi. Here we go.
  • Ew. Martin is so defiant towards his grandparents, and it's absolutely disgusting. He's got to be taken down multiple pegs back to humbleland, if he's ever been there before. And now Bradley knows what Martin has been hiding, and I don't blame him for being pissed. He can't go back into his journalism career, all because his selfish, demeaning "husband" is going for the presidency? Foolish.
  • Bradley versus Martin? Is that what we're about to get. I suspect Mike Manning (Bradley) will be carrying these scenes.
  • Both Bill and Dani snapping against each of their daughters? Oh, how the tables will be spinning.

I agree. This was a great episode! Brandon shined in all his scenes today! The mystery surrounding his secret is the most intriguing part of the show.

Bill vs. Naomi is also really exciting to watch, He loves his girls so I am all locked in.

I was not feeling it today. Martin annoys the hell out of me. Dani is a ticking bomb. Some of the dialogue was strange.

I like Martin, he has the potential, to become the Victor Newman of the show. And, that is actually different for a gay character in Daytime.

I like him better in conflict with Vernon than just “I love you, Grandad, Thank you, Grandad”!

+10. Not cooking with grease

Not the same character. But his position on the canvas, for sure. He is the male heir. God forbid something happens to Vernon, but Martin will be calling the shots in that family and gotta protect the woman. Think long-term and Martin could run this show!

The stage is already set for him to feud with Bill.

    • I'm really liking Izaiah and Eva so far. And why can't I help but feel that something might happen to make Jessica stay in Fairmont Crest permanently?
    • So Pam didn't create her? I thought she had the whole of 87-88. I'll look around, thanks for the point in the right direction.

date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Samantha, accept the fact you were in the wrong and do not deserve your digital devices. Do not like it? Go upstairs. Read a book. Do some knitting. Bradley and Martin's "we get it" to Tyrell was hilarious and absolutely a parent's thing to do. Loving a bit of history of both the Duprees (via Eva) and the Hawthrones (via Izaiah). So cute. Poor June. I am sure she did not purposefully mean to mess up; we have all been there working in customer service. Shake it off and keep on keeping on! Not twice a week for Vernon's cobbler order... Sharon must be using that as payment for their meetings. I appreciate that Ted still cares about the Duprees despite the end of his marriage to Nicole. Not Dana using Peaches' crisis as a way of taking Ted's attention away from a co-worker. Girl, do not be so obvious. Bradley is a man after my own heart with a simply divine chocolate milkshake. That is the way to go. Dana really needs to dial it back. Money will not buy her everything she wants and she will realise it soon enough. And I doubt Shanice is scared off by her idle threats, either. "With all due respect, Ms Thomas, this isn't a shopping mall." Oh, Dr Wilkes just owned Dana's arrogant ass. I love it. Wigs and personas? Okay now, Shanice ate with that read. I like that June assured Bradley that she will not replace him or Martin in the twins' lives. And that blood does not make a parent. Words never rang more true. Jessica reading Samantha was amazing. Dana would want to involve Ted. Her obsession is crossing beyond dangerous boundaries. Not Dana catching Vernon leaving Sharon's room at the country club. That is not good. Not good at all! Notes: Ugh. Not another breakdown from writer2. This week was going so well. Thankfully, Paige is an outstanding scriptwriter (one of this soap's best), and her words today are excellent. The food at Orphey Gene's does look bomb, so I do not blame any of the characters for uptalking it. I would eat there daily if I could. And gain hundreds of pounds, too. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to make me sick watching him, but he is nice to listen to. I still really like having June as the central person hub at Orphey Gene's. That familiar face you see when you walk in and have scenes. Dana wanting a second opinion means we could have an incoming doctor, right...?

    • I am sure "no one cares" and it's not a big deal to some people, but this thread is full of certain posters calling out women's ages, their viability to have children at like 35, and their nail polish, but we celebrate everything Chandler Massey does and applaud any male shirtless scenes.  And then posters walk back being like it's just a joke and weren't serious lol.
    • I'm so glad she's still on the show. Seems like she may have dropped a hint about the real source of conflict between her and Dee, too.
    • I don't know how reliable the information is, but from what I've read, he joined GH in 1977, and Alan (who started airing in September 1977) was one of his creations. That should have been enough time to get the show in better shape by the January 1978 episode we saw, but then again, shifting from a 30 minute to a 60 minute format is a big transition, one that requires a lot of filler scenes like Monica having a long flashback to a scene that must have only played out a few weeks earlier.
    • I agree. She said, "I do," and then decided, "I don't." I wish Nikki Abbott had been a longer duration. I wholly prefer Nikki with Jack than I ever have with Victor, and today's episode proved that. And I never minded Ashley with Victor.
