Just today she kinda blurted out that she was sorry at which point Dani cut her saying something witty.  Usually though like Nina on GH she goes on & on about what she did not intend. B*tch, your intentions don't mean squat. Have you never heard that famous expression about good intentions?!! Where have you been? Under a rock?

That’s what drives me crazy. The constant I didn’t mean to. How do you not mean to f.uck your best friend’s dad while smiling in her mom’s face. Her little innocent act is beginning to wear thin on me the way Dani’s anger is wearing thin on others.

That I can't guess. Maybe someone we haven't met yet.

I'm not seeing it. I say the hotness of the show is Andre.

Andre and Dani cannot stay away from each other.

Absolutely. You can't accidentally have sex. If you could we'd all be in heck of trouble! The very idea "I didn't mean.." Stop right there, nobody gives a good godawful about what you did not mean. And, I've noticed she ALWAYS whines when she says this stupid thing.

Tunie has also mentioned sending a mass email to the cast about professionalism and how to bring your A game when doing a soap after the first couple of weeks of filming went a little too slow. Very curious how the show improves overall in the coming months.

She actually has. In episode 2, she says to Nicole: " I’ve tried apologizing to Dani, but she just can’t get past her anger. "

Seeing how Dani is, I can see her not accepting said apology when Hayley came to her. Totally justified as she doesnt have to forgive her. I do think they write Hayley as being remorseful and that bothers me! I wish she was more of an unapologetic bish and owned her ish. I thought the naive act was an act but she really is like this. I need her to have more fire and become someone to love to hate

She doesn’t have to be over it, but at this point, she’s the aggressor. Everything else so far has been brought to her - Hayley having the affair with Bill, Bill and Hayley getting married at the country club, Bill and Hayley moving into the neighborhood, Hayley attempting to win Nicole over, the Dupree parents forcing her to attend the wedding, etc. It would be different if Dani had never had a chance to react and confront over those events, but she has had the chance and she’s taken it every time. Showing up to their house today was just messy bc it wasn’t in reaction to anything. If it’s just bc of general anger over the situation then, once again, btch needs therapy and she needs it bad. Every time she pulls a big gesture meant to intimidate or embarrass Hayley, Hayley still goes to bed with Bill, still marries Bill, and still moves into the neighborhood with Bill. Meanwhile, Dani secretly has meaningless sex with her sister’s nephew then gets drunk by herself and cries.

She is nottttttt that girl at all.

Found the comment you referenced.

It was during the created flashback scene when Dani was reminiscing about coming home with Bill after their daughter Naomi's wedding.

They talk about how Dani gave up everything for Bill and then ...

Bill:  I tell you what -- if Jacob were to ask Naomi for half the things I asked of you, they'd never find that boy's body.

Dani:  Because, in Bill Hamilton's plan for his progeny: Naomi is to become President, followed immediately by her appointment to the Supreme Court.

Bill:  Yeah, you're damn right.  She's got that kind of promise.

Dani:  She does.

Bill:  Yeah.

From this scene:

This felt more like filler but had some nice moments. As I pay attention to the script writer/breakdown writers it's interesting to see the differences. This felt like the weakest breakdown we got but I felt like we got some good scenes out of it. Something about the inclusion of Nicole and Ted felt incomplete for me. I could've used another scene with them to tie things up better.

I loved the scenes with Haley and Dani and it's nice seeing Karla Mosley settle into the role. I think it was a big mistake not giving Bill or Haley any family so they have an outlet to their feelings. They run the risk of becoming too isolated without a solid talk-to. I know Haley has Caroline but she needs someone they're willing to give screentime to. Maybe if Ashley was friends with Haley instead of Naomi that would've worked better but then again I love Naomi with Ashley so maybe not.

Another character that needs an outlet is Smitty. Might've been a good idea to make Cady's character his mother. I will say, I'm enjoying Martin and Smitty more and more each episode. I get the complaints about the lack of affection but we know this is a risky new soap launch and CBS Daytime is conservative. Hopefully in time they can be more affectionate as the show is successful they may be willing to take more chances. From a story standpoint it works for now so I'm not too bothered by it. I'm just happy the actors are getting more comfortable. Martin is building himself up so much that I see his downfall being delicious once we get to it.

    • I really have no problem with Kai as a character or with the actor. The problem is putting together two very nice people -- Kai and Trina. Neither of them has a bad side, neither of them has a devil on the shoulder, neither of them is impulsive. I think that's a problem in a soap relationship. Yeah, I agree. All this freaking out might make sense if Lulu wanted to do a tabloid expose on BLQ's LOVE CHILD. We have no indication that's the case.
    • So Sonni would have somebody to talk to who she wasn't conspiring with (Will or Alan)? Alex kept telling Sonni how important her friends were...when she had virtually no friends. Instead they created loyal servants like Jane and Vera to give Alex people to play off of. They did that with Iris on AW, but Vivien was mostly there for comic relief Alex keeping Marah's paternity a secret was absurd. But I still love the scene between Alex and Alan where he convinces her by reminding her how they protected each other from their abusive father. Chris and Bev ATE that scene. Unfortunately, that took place only a few months before he exited the show...always thought they could have built on that, explored more how being Brandon's children screwed them both up. Maybe even used it as an explanation for the way their relationship could constantly swing from hatred to love. Instead of it being merely dictated by the plot.
    • The first one is Cass Winthrop dressed as Krystle Lake on Another World (not from his original creation of the character to hide from the loan shark Tony the Tuna, but at a romance convention trying to find out what had happened to Felicia who was missing). The second one is also Another World, Jake McKinnon as Doris although I don't recall what his purpose was.
    • I know there was one brief scene in the summer of 1989 where Lillian did mention Calla.. but in relation to her past relationship to Ross and it was to Roger while he was a patient at Cedars.  I think he was trying to pump her for information on Ross.. and for some reason, Calla's name came up.   I could see perhaps Beth mentioning that her mother Lillian was visiting Calla.. but not exactly giving any sort of details as to the going ons in Calla's life off screen.

    • They're neither great nor terrible AFAIK, but it is more a question of the streaming numbers in this day and age vs. actual TV airings. The Chibnall era reminded me much more of the crisis years, but I do think it's a very real possibility now as well due to the streaming bubble collapse affecting the show and its prospects.
    • ANYTHING to get her off the screen..she COULD have been interesting if she and Van had a few face offs..(there was a mild one of her going back to work...but I wanted something meatier "Bitch, I am Vanessa Chamberlain and I don't take advice from someone who followed the..career path you did!" I did like Alex's outright disdain for her.
    • Thanks @Vee for the commentary.    I haven’t even watched this season yet after  I couldn’t get past the couple episodes last season…like it was too Disneyified for my taste, although I did think it was a least better than the Chibnall era (but so is a lot of things). I’ll probably go back and binge it now. Hoping this season ends on a high note. I did read the ratings are terrible. As it stands I’m beginning to feel like what long time DW fans felt with S26 in 1989.
    • Yes, they are all on contract. Next.
