So they aired the alternate opening then, like was mentioned last week after the Paley Center event. The one I saw in the screener was the one Soaps.com posted, which didn't include Mike. He appears in episode 2.

That was honestly one of my favorite things about it. They somehow managed to introduce us to these characters while also making it feel like we’ve already been watching for quite a while. I liked that immediate feeling of normalcy (i.e. Anita and Nicole chatting about Dani).

I like that they changed it, but I'm not sure why. Seems like they may have done some editing after the episodes they gave the press on 2/14.

True, I guess the press version CBS gave SheKnows the exclusive to. Honestly, I wonder why they gave them any exclusive as I’ve never seen them have an exclusive before, lol

First episode was great

Loved the Duprees. They feel like a real family.

The dialogue was good and sounded like how folks speak

The white couple did seem out of place today but I wanna see what they bring to the table

The only negative is the hospital set

Too bright and too white. Needs repainting.

She's from Real Housewives of Potomac, which is in the DMV area, where Beyond the Gates takes place.

It seems like it was the core four + 8 cast members. So 12 in total. I don't think Vanessa was in this version of the cast credits, despite being heavily supporting.

Dani was doing the absolute most and is giving bitter and pressed. I get her pain but this attitude is gonna get old real fast

From what I could tell there's likely several openings - Core 4 + 8 other cast members.

It's giving regret; giving her life up for a man that left her in the end for someone she considered family. A younger, newer model at that.
