Well, I have lasted this long, so it's unlikely.

You have strength in numbers.  I am probably the only one on this board who even mildly likes Sonny  and most days I don't.  I just don't hate him.

I don't recall.  I remember him not knowing Sonny very well at all in the beginning yet he paid for all Gio's schooling-which seemed really odd.

@DRW50 Gio didn’t have any beef with Sonny, he idolized him and continues to do so.

I have 0 attachment to this Cameron since I wasn’t watching when he was on but the family reunion for Liz was nice to see. All of those concerns about this Aidan looking too old were made moot today since he looked believable as being the younger brother.

I did want some deeper stuff with Cam and Lucky and I’m disappointed the show didn’t play some tension there but I did like them singing together at the end.

Drew stalking Willow at Jordan’s event was gross and I loved Jordan’s open disdain for him and running interference with Felicia. I liked her stuff with Isaiah too.

Curtis has been entertaining me now that he’s not letting Drew and Michael walk all over him in business. Glad he made Michael make him CEO before they tanked the Auroa stock for the takeover.

Jason telling Carly not to go after Willow and Drew was funny because you already know she ain’t gonna listen

I want her to destroy them tbh

I like Nina’s new house set and I’m ready for her and Carly to go to war for their kids and grandkids

Trina and Josslyn’s scenes dealing with their mutual dead boyfriend grief…this Dex death just feels very hollow for me and I don’t care at all.

Maybe it was Gio and Trina arguing about Sonny vs Ava at the time.

The connection to Sonny does make me think there were some plans from early in his arrival to make him Dante's son...wasn't this when all the babymaking stuff with Brooklyn and Chase started too?

Welcome back, Cam! We’ve missed you!

From the very first scene, it was obvious that he should be back on the canvas and leading the younger crowd as well. And I loved seeing him so happy, and with a girl who actually respects and appreciates him. Gretchen the cellist is a massive upgrade. And honestly, I see this whole situation as well deserved karma and I couldn’t be happier. #MerryChristmasCam

The Spencer/Webber family scenes were the best part of today. I loved seeing them interact as a whole. And that Cam and Lucky sang for everybody. I was hoping we would get that. Cam and Aidan did have good brother chemistry as well. Maybe it’s time to meet Tobias too

But I agree that there should been scenes of Cam and Lucky just catching up. It’s too bad that their relationship’s been so diminished in the last decade or so. Btw, I love how, despite Lucky basically being erased from Cam’s life for all these years, they always remembered to have him call Laura “Grandma.”

As for Drew, did CM really say that Drew and Willow could be the next Luke and Laura?

    • Am I remembering correctly that the Madison's lived in a Spanish revival-style house? I have a vague recollection of the fireplace looking especially Spanish in style. It is unusual that Montecello had so many architectural styles.  Obviously, that might occur IRL.  But, look at other east coast soaps and there is a definitive style that is throughout (because it was styled by a set decorator) regardless of the income of the occupants.
    • @kalbir MSW was a powerhouse for CBS. Angela Lansbury was a superb actress. In 1985, TV viewers were tiring of the primetime soaps and the like. People wanted storytelling and MSW was great at that and had great guest stars. Storytelling -- an amazing and novel concept. CBS Daytime by 1985 was beating ABC so CBS was on the upswing.
    • I'd say just the opposite - conflict means they will find out and then be at odds. For the limited amount of time people on this show have conflict (if they aren't named Nina or Ric, I guess).
    • Totes mcgoats (aka I agree). But, now the character needs to move forward.  Clyde's exit was 12/11/24.  It is May.  She and Chad have been on one date. I don't think they've slept together. And she was only planning on sticking around for a year.
    • That is one of the best insults I've heard in a long time.  I burst out laughing when Kat called Eva that.  LOL Their scenes, of course, were really good.  Colby and Ambyr have so much chemistry.  The only thing I'd change is Kat saying "you're dead to me."  That's a phrase usually said about someone you care about.  I would've preferred something like "You will never be my sister," or something similar to that.  Nice contrast at the end with both mothers/daughters:  Kat comforting/consoling her mother, and Eva being locked out by her mother.  Yeah, I wasn't a big of fan of the singing either, especially after your daughter's life has been destroyed.  What?  LOL And I also agree with those that thought Dana/Leslie's scenes with the Dupree's didn't feel right since Eva is not a Dupree....unless she is.  But as of right now, she's not.
    • Trisha Mann-Grant, Ambyr Michelle, Sean Freeman are destined for bigger and better things. They need to move on as soon as their initial contracts are done.
    • Daphnée Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant on Instagram live, 5/5/2025 just concluded, saved here https://www.instagram.com/p/DJSsYb7PDv8/
    • I really need to see Anita in a scene that isn't with a family member. In fact, I would have preferred that she would have gotten rid of the mob and had a one on one with Leslie to lay down the law with her.  I'm going to say it, Mike Manning has been completely lifeless on this show. Other than people's superficial fondness for him, I don't get what they see in him as an actor. I never saw him on DAYS though. The show had another really strange cut right before the opening credits where it looked like they almost cut off Nicole mid-sentence.  Kat/Eva are carrying this show on their backs. Lock them in for lifetime contracts, I beg.
    • There's a 1980 scene of Victor and Katherine in the Chancellor Estate living room where they went over a contract that would put Victor in charge of Chancellor Industries, but it was rewritten that Katherine brought Victor to Genoa City so he could run Chancellor Industries.
    • Put me in the minority in being happy about Cat not being Abby. After the two adult recasts played tag with the role, it's time for a few years of rest. I have a huge list of things I hate about RC's writing, but that choice was not one of them.
