Meanwhile, the show she works on shoves her to the background after her onscreen love interest leaves and props a homophobic stage mom character.

I'm gonna go ahead and say it: that girl is too good for GH.

While I do blame him for many of the show's ails, apathy towards black characters (if not at times outright hostility) is a longstanding issue. Given the bigotry that is at the heart of this country I wouldn't be surprised if many at ABC are involved here. I wonder if it's a coincidence that the black characters were further marginalized just as it became obvious Trump was going to win the GOP nomination (and very possibly the Presidency).

I would guess Taby is leaving and they made it clear to her they weren't going to give her anything to do. The lip service about Gio is clear when he is much more interested in Joss.

I agree, but I wonder if they may just be willing to work something out anyway. Wait several more months and then have a mutual statement, with Trina then saying she can't stay in Port Charles because of too many memories of Spencer. Laura wishes her well, and Joss says oh that's sad, now I don't have a friend, and Trina tells her everybody loves her, and then Trina leaves.

That also was because the strike delayed his shooting which took 4.5 months. He just finished filming that show in May and his GH deal ended June 2024. Taby's deal ends March 2025

Taby is also going to Graceland in October. I take that as they will be giving her story

So sad, but also not surprised, to read what she experienced. I believe social media instead of connecting us has just made us more divided and often alone. I see young people all the time consumed by their phones and social media...and they also seem more isolated, anxious, and struggle to connect with people in a face-to-face situation.
