Molly can be very supportive of the LGBTQ+ community and still throw shade about closeted gays. Besides, I don't blame her for being stressed. All Kristina was doing was keeping all info about the baby private. Honestly, if she'd told the whole surrogacy story I bet that Tolly would have been furious with her for that choice. It really seems like she can't win with them. But, you're right that now things are getting dangerous. I really don't want this family breaking in two over this! And, now, finally, I'm on the bandwagon that something is going to happen to this baby. At some point he needs to put his kids first and let Carly sort out her own mess...like carly told him to. At one point Jason even said something along the lines of he didn't want to be around with if Carly was locked up. He might as well be with her because she's clearly his greatest love. Plus he loved Robin. The real reason back then was Burton fought it at every turn, until he gave in just a little to give his exit story more oomph (Jason shot doing Sonny’s business while Sonny and Carly had sex for the first time). I wish I had saved my old soap mags because I remember Burton being asked about Carly/Jason and he basically said Jason would never be with someone like Carly. This was when Robin was still in the picture though, but only away at school. KMc had not fully quit yet. When the PC hotel was on fire, he kissed TB’s version. I don’t remember anything romantic with LW’s Carly until he was again headed out the door and they thought Sonny was dead. Laura Wright has always leaned heavily into the closeness and how much Carly needs Jason, which is pretty true to how SJB played her.
