Awwww I got to see some Ashley after all!!! My reaction was just like Tucker's. I was not expecting to see her. And those Tucker/Ashley scenes...were soooo good. THAT was what had been missing since the start of this alter storyline. That back and forth. I also liked that Ashley was able to apologize to him. And she even tried to make amends with Audra.

And there it was again! I said there was a scene a while ago where CC and BM looked like they had a bit of a spark as Alan and Traci. And there was something that the director was doing where they kept zooming in on Alan while Traci was talking after he was asking about Traci as a person that made me go hmmmm. Could they finally be giving Traci a new love interest?

And okay Victor...you have my interest piqued. It was already there with his scene with Diane last week. Now he wants Michael to get closer to her. Clearly, we are about to get another round of him vs Jack. And since Victor wants Cole to get close to Kyle, I take it to mean I might actually be interested in the lame Kyle vs Diane story.

100% agree to all of this after catching up with this week. I wish the show would scale back on the ridiculous business stories.

Diane/Kyle makes zero sense and is terribly written when it could be written so much better or at least have some psychological meaning behind it, something JG could never do.

I admit Friday’s twist ending with Audra and Victor was a nice one but honestly would have been more impressive 20 years ago under a better writing regime.

Ashley’s DID story was wrapped up too quick on Monday ugh. Like I mentioned elsewhere the Alan/Martin and “childhood trauma” twists were abrupt, ludicrous, and not fully explored at all

I noted it the Summer and Sally scenes were nice…but over freaking Chloe…? Sally has a better friend in Audra. Seriously we should have some real drama between these two like Summer approving of Sally’s work but making final edits behind her back.

And thanks @Taoboi

Honestly, I don't know why they're bringing them back. There's really no story for Danny and Christine, and I think their Romeo and Juliet days are long over.

If it's just for more sabotage from Phyllis, that's just more Phyllis character destruction.

See? I knew I was going to struggle to watch once Ashley exited stage left.

Did I like anything?

Well...I liked seeing Summer and Sally getting along.

I liked seeing Chance.

And TSJ is still looking good in his clothes. lol. And I enjoyed the episode I watched today where Tucker finally told Audra what was going on with Ashley. And Audra threw no snark.

I loved Cole in his suit and Victoria has been great good all week. Cute little moment between them.

So I guess other than that, I've enjoyed watching Victor weave his web over Cole, Michael, Kyle, and Diane. Cuz...VICTOR. That said...the Battle of the Newman Kids...AGAIN...yeeeah, NO.

    • I do not think I have ever agreed with Vee. Normally I do not read him, Ignore ya know. For some unknown reason I clicked to read. And I agree 1000%. Now, this is so odd that I need to go away for a bit.
    • Justine had a lot of hooey in it, but she was an actual woman, not a guy in drag. She was a doppelganger of Rachel, French, having had a past history with Carl, etc. Two of the more outrageous parts-Justine bricking alive Vicky into a wall & Justine grinding the gears driving a big rig.
    • Hehe, twi/x actually x, formerly Twitter. Typically I find 2 sources for "crazy fan rumors" - the wrong parts of FB and x. Oy.
    • Not to hijack the thread, but was that character Justine? I just found this interview online with Logan and see what you're talking about - wow!   http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/chat85.html
    • My bad….ill fix that  Fixed
    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.
