Members Soapsuds Posted yesterday at 05:39 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 05:39 AM @Errol With P&G behind this project and Tamara hinting at the possibility of future As the World Turns alumni returning could they play their original characters on the show, what are the chances of this happening? For example, Scott Bryce playing Craig Montgomery.

Webmaster Errol Posted yesterday at 05:59 AM Author Webmaster Share Posted yesterday at 05:59 AM Highly unlikely, especially since As The World Turns alums Jon Lindstrom and Cady McClain are playing new characters, not to mention Tamara Tunie herself.
Members Paul Raven Posted yesterday at 06:42 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 06:42 AM I don't want to see BTG crossovers with B&B and Y&R or old P&G characters turning up.
Members Chris B Posted yesterday at 07:15 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 07:15 AM I feel like we will for sure have some sort of Y&R or B&B crossover at some point but I don't want any former P&G characters. The last thing they need is to add the baggage of a show that ran 50-70 years. We know how soap fans can be and it's just too much of a handicap that it wouldn't be worth any potential benefit. All it would take is to mess up one bit of history and fans would be up in arms. They need to focus on developing their own world without the added pressure of old soaps.
Members Soapsuds Posted yesterday at 08:20 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 08:20 AM The cast already said it was inevitable. Thanks for replying. Much appreciated Errol.
Members vanguard Posted yesterday at 08:23 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 08:23 AM Mr. Sean Freeman sounds tired already. Wow. Was it wise for him to have made this video?
Members BetterForgotten Posted yesterday at 08:38 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 08:38 AM He's tired, working hard, and this is his first major role. It's understandable IMO.
Members DRW50 Posted yesterday at 08:50 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 08:50 AM (edited) If the show does well and lasts for a certain period of time I think a GL or ATWT crossover - hell any P&G soap, I don't care - could be a nice tip of the hat and a way to bring in some new characters through their kids of grandkids, and I think those who complain about history rewrites can be easily ignored (as they often are by soaps). With that said, it would be unfair and inappropriate to BtG to do so any time soon, and I have no expectations of them doing so. Many of the main writers don't really have a lot of P&G ties anyway.
