Kerry. (He plays Randy Parker, old friend of Doug McBride - Randy is now an employee of mobster Joey Armstrong) https://www.instagram.com/p/DG33FUDRaea/ March 6, 2025 paramountvetnet We are beyond honored to welcome CBS’ Beyond The Gates star Maurice P. Kerry as the newest Ambassador to the Paramount Veterans Network family! Maurice shines as Randy Parker on the hit CBS daytime drama, Beyond the Gates. In its debut week alone, the series captivated 5.2 million viewers, holding its own alongside legendary shows like General Hospital and even surpassing it in key demographics (A25-54), according to Nielsen ratings. But Maurice’s most powerful story doesn’t begin on a soundstage—it began on the front lines. A decorated U.S. Marine Corps Combat Veteran, Maurice served with distinction during Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Yet, some of his toughest battles came after returning home. Like so many of our nation’s heroes, the transition to civilian life brought unexpected hardships, including more than a year of homelessness on the streets of Southern California. Still, Maurice refused to let his circumstances define him. Instead, he leaned into his creative gifts and dared to chase a dream bigger than his struggles: a career in acting. And today, he’s not only thriving on screen but also using his journey to uplift others. Maurice is a man of many talents—a devoted father, director, gamer, acting coach, and a passionate advocate for mental and physical wellness. As a proud disabled veteran living with PTSD, he’s become a beacon of resilience, proving that no challenge is insurmountable with purpose, persistence, and heart. Guided by the powerful mantras “Don’t Quit, Grit!”, “Hard ain’t impossible,” and “In war my enemy couldn’t kill me... so what can your opinion do to a man like me?”, Maurice embodies what it means to overcome, to grow, and to lead with love. His life is more than an inspiring story—it’s a testament to the strength of the human spirit and a reminder to us all that our greatest battles can become our greatest legacies. Welcome to the team, Maurice. We’re proud to stand beside you. #paramountveteransnetwork #marines #veterans #military #paramountvetnet #veteransnetwork #paramount #vetnet #veteran #beyondthegates #btg #gatedcommunity #cbs #paramountplus . Members Soapsuds Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM If she's willing? She is saying she wants to be on the show. She already turned down Valentini and he hasn't even asked her. Members Vee Posted yesterday at 02:05 AM Members Share Posted yesterday at 02:05 AM I was saying the other day it would be a hoot if she came on being someone's slightly cringe old fashioned liberal grandmother still dropping questionable terms and claiming she dated all the civil rights idols before Anita.

Members janea4old
Great interview. I like what she says at the end: Michele Val Jean: "You've got to believe in your knowledge of who the characters are. I can't speak for everybody, but I listen to the characters -- they tell me what they need and where they want to go. My job is to get them there in the most interesting and compelling ways possible. That's what I do."
