Nice! When I found out MJV was responsible for Lucky finding out about L/L in the aftermath of Elizabeth Webber's attack I looked those episodes up on YT. (I was never a GH person) Now I am going to look up the Mary Mae funeral episode. I'm very interested in seeing whatever work has had MJV's fingerprints on it in the run-up to BTG's debut.

A great deal of classic GH is MVJ's work. Stone's death, the Wards, Liz's rape, you name it.

On a related note, I've been researching the other various BTG writers. One of the scriptwriters is Danielle Paige, who write this wonderful scene for Lillian and Beth on GL in 2000:

She first put Kevin & Lucy together as a couple. 

Definitely see the GENERATIONS catfight. Those two women almost destroy an apartment. Takes a very tall adult male to physically pull them apart. (And usually I'm not a fan of catfights.)

On B&B she wasn't the lead (Mulcahey was.) but she was a part of Maya's story. 

At GH when she wrote the revisitation of the Luke & Laura rape, she used her own rape, Liz's rape & Audrey's rape to get at the original rape. (No idea why Guza gave this to her. Maybe just really smart.)

I'm sorry but I have no idea what she got to write at Santa Barbara.

Besides her, people speak very highly of Susan Dansby.

I find it interesting that Ron Carlivati has barely mentioned his involvement with BTG. I know he's a veteran of the business but I still find it kind of odd. Maybe, I'm reading too much into it.

I'd prefer he not speak at all. I feel like if he does, it'll spark apprehension in us all that he's going to have some say so in the direction of the show. I just need him to remain mute and breakdown MVJ and Guza's long stories.

I’m still a little concerned as to how he’ll write some characters in episodes that he works on though.

IIRC he's not a scriptwriter on the show, he's on breakdowns.

He's a breakdown writer; he won't be writing shït outside of outlines for the scripts, thankfully. The script writing belongs to Jazmen Darnell Brown, Cheryl L. Davis, Danielle Paige and Judy Tate, all people of colour!
