If they were smart they'd rotate showing classic YR and classic BOLD, and I mean actual classics

I still don't understand some of these TV Line character bios. Do they expect me to believe Daphnee Duplaix's character has not only grown children but teenage grandchildren??

The grandchildren are adopted.

I'm aware. Still, Duplaix as a grandmother with fully grown adult married professional children is a hard one to swallow for me.

Well actually I was under the impression that back in the day, soaps were usually 2 to 3 months ahead of what airs. Or am I getting my old 22 episodes a season shows mixed up again?

Back in live to tape days the shows would be maybe a week or so ahead of air dates.

From the 80's on maybe 4-6 weeks ahead.

Hooray!! Glad to see we finally have an airdate!! 🙂🙂🙂🙂

I was really was hoping for January but this works. Actually a bit surprised they didn’t wait a week for March 3rd so all 3 soaps could have March anniversaries.

I also echo the sentiment that classic Y&R and B&B episodes should air in between the gap. I recall CBS airing bonus Y&R and TPIR episodes during the gap between ATWT and the Talk, but all the episodes were from the MAB era except re airing Michael and Lauren’s 2005 wedding.

I anticipate this shall be the 4th time I will see a soap debut live after The City, Sunset Beach, and Passions. The DVR will definitely be set if I can’t.

I want, I need, I crave more pictures. Otherwise I will have to stare and obsess over that metallic outfit for days. I want to see more. They are just giving me a small spoonful... When I'm so hungry.

I want more pics. LOL. ❤️🤣

We've got to be patient. We're getting closer, but don't want it all spoiled before February 24.

It is a soap opera after all so the actor's age don't always necessary matchup with what reality might suggest for the type of character they are playing. I think it's far less stark than some of the casting that used to have actors playing parenting to actors who were as little as a year younger to them.

Exactly; castings like this have been happening in daytime (and primetime) for decades. It'll play-out fine on television. I understand Vee's POV, but we've seen worse.
