I'm not saying CHCH isn't airing Beyond the Gates. I'm just saying that it's not the be-all-end-all of the show airing in Canada as has been implied in other articles -- not anyone here.

The CHCH promo referenced above is the same CBS promo that aired in the U.S. but with CHCH lettering and graphics.

If CHCH ends up being the only broadcaster that will be highly unexpected and disappointing, but I can't imagine that being the case in the end. By the time CBS dropped The Talk and greenlit BTG, I believe Global was airing the daytime talk show, so I expect the same network to carry BTG. But we shall see.

Ugh, it doesn't run on the live feed here for another few hours. Fortunately they've also been putting it up very, very quickly on the app (within 2-3 hours).

I have missed licensed music terribly since Prospect Park. Sure, they overspent on many show elements (does Jack Manning's love scene with his teacher really need to be scored to the Rolling Stones?) but it was nice to hear legit music or see real brands in many scenes again.

With this thread being so vast, I forget if Debbi Morgan being wanted for a role is a fact or just speculation, but if it is true, I actually think she might have been wanted for the role of Leslie, the manipulative, narcissistic mother.

I think the characters that most interest me are Daphnee Duplaix's straight laced Nicole, the aforementioned Leslie, and that middle Dupree grandchild with the business mind. Plus, I think we can categorically state this show easily has the sexist men in daytime and even in contrast to the soaps across the pond and down under.

With every day inching closer, I get more and more excited!

Victoria Rowell recurred on the CBS primetime show "Good Sam" in 2022.  (The show was cancelled after the first season).

I don't know if you'd call that "long term" or not, but I think it would have been, if the show had continued airing.

VR was at the Y&R 50th anniversary party in March 2023.
