Not talking about psychos and villains. More characters like Opal on AMC, Spinelli on GH, or Luna on OLTL who walked to the beat of their own drummer, may have been mystics or comic relief, had their own distinctive language or crazy style, and were viewed as kinda off the wall by other characters.

Eugene seizing the moment and taking credit for getting Marlena pregnant when Roman was presumed dead was comedy gold, as was the shotgun wedding Tom Horton arranged for them.

@Faulkner  Slick was the quintessential sidekick that could hook you up with a dancer, a fence, a Quartemaine or a drink at the Bucket of Blood.  Or all of those in one person!  I didn't pick this screen name lightly!  😃😍😎

Definitely not my favorite by a long shot, but Days Susan Banks.

Another World & Texas’ Vivien Gorrow as   the Cory and Iris’ maid.  Not too many people could steal a scene from Beverlee McKinsey, but Gretchen Oehler’s Vivien could.

In a lot of cases, little of these 'oddball' characters goes along way with me as sometimes it seems having them overact is seen as enough by the writers.

I remember Noriko became Anna's new housekeeper, but I don't recall Olin's exit.
