Gwen is serving it! Eat it, Alex! Work that tongue of yours and eat it.

I wonder if she had asparagus beforehand?

Quite a wild scene for Gwennie and Alex.

I think I'm just sexually frustrated. I should make a phone call. Or four.

If we're going to have a lust fest for Christopher Sean - oh please - let me join in. LOL

Not only is Chris Sean unbelievably handsome but he's also a very good actor who has the ability to create chemistry with nearly every male character he was romantically involved with. From Guy Wilson to Freddie Smith {at least in the beginning}, to Spencer Neville {Derek} to Chandler Massey and to presently Colton Little. Mainly because I think he's totally comfortable playing the sexuality of his character. Not to mention Sean has fantastic father/son chemistry with Drake Hogestyn.

Agreed; he's the ultimate catch.

Sheffer was always much, much, much better at talking to an adoring soap press than he was at writing. Anything he said, I never believed. I wouldn't be surprised if he got bored with Nick fast, especially given his love of pigs like EJ, or Hunt Block's Craig on ATWT.

Is he the one that gave us Willow the Hooker who was involved with Shawn? And Shawn and Belle were on the run from Phillip with Claire in some island location? I seem to recall early 2007 was when DAYS toyed with the idea of completely backburnering John/Marlena, Bo/Hope, and other vets in an effort to use the younger, cheaper cast and it backfired.

This makes tons of sense.  There were a lot of stories that the show started and then walked back on that seemed like intriguing ideas.  I do feel like Kristen's return was good, but certain points were bungled as well.  IE Marlena/John finding out Kristen was alive off screen and never mentioning it until Kristen was in Salem lol.

Talk about a missed opportunity.

I'd still like to know when/how they discovered it was Penelope Kent floating in The Killing Pool, but much like Maya and the mysterious goop in 2003, some questions will never be answered...

Per Jason 47’s Days page….

Ashley Benson (Abigail Deveraux) 11/12/04-5/2/07

Mandy Musgrave (Chelsea Benson) 11/12/04-4/26/05

I remember this, and Reilly being the subtle writer that he is, when Chelsea and Billie (Julie Pinson) shook hands when they first met, there was this long pause as Billie looked in Chelsea's eyes and we the audience knew right away she was "dead" baby Georgia.

Yep. That story got out of hand. I found Willow utterly intolerable but it was clear someone at the show was absolutely fascinated with her. I vaguely remember some gossip claiming the actress was involved with someone BTS but I may be imagining things.

And didn't she somehow end up in the DAYS writing credits a few years ago?

Talk about truly taking the shock out of a reveal.  Marlena wasn't even surprised to see Kristen lol.  I guess John/Marlena just knew she was sold into white slavery and didn't care at all for years.

And new Stephanie is okay, I just have no attachment to her. I also preferred Stephanie being in the older crew when she was dating Phillip.

Yeah, she's pretty milquetoast. Hennig had more pizzaz.  She's like the Stephanie Cameron to Missy Reeves' Jennifer Rose.

I agree when it comes Brady. On one hand I get Rachel's behavior and sometimes you do have to give the child a little leeway. However there comes a point when a parent have to put their foot down and say, "enough is enough." Rachel is a child who needs discipline. Without it, Brady comes off looking weak. No child should have that much power over their parent. I get it. Rachel's antics is supposed to be entertaining but it isn't mainly because they character is fun. She's not a light-hearted brat. She is an annoying, pain in the ass brat. Like you I hope when Brady read what Chloe said instead of being upset with Chloe, he'll use it as a wake up call to start discipline his child.

That’s what should be done. And it would be a much better story to see than Brady getting all angry at Chloe for what she said, which is still a lot nicer than I would have been 😂😂

I was astonished that everyone just shrugged off her being out of that Arab prison and seemed blase about her being back in the world.

I agree most everything about Alex is useless, but a softcore scene with RSW isn't the worst thing in the world.  The man is still very hot lol.

That I didn’t mind at all 😂

What I mind is the extremely biased writing in favor of RSW. Even though I agree about how hot he is, I’m just so tired of Alex and the biased writing in favor of him.

Plus, it’s not like he’s the only hot guy on the show 😂😂😂

Willow was just a completely unlikeable character.  She was one of the worst characters ever.

Who was the writer pushing Morgan Hollingsworth so hard.  I know there were rumors about the actress behind the scenes, but was Ed Scott pushing her?

I actually think the new Stephanie is exactly like Hennig lol, but I didn't think SH was that great as Stephanie.  I actually liked the red headed race car 1st one.

I think they let Kristen touch on the fact that she was an actual sex slave, but Marlena was so casual about Kristen popping up and this is a women that dramatically gasps when John buys her flowers.  It was so anti climatic.

You are 100% right about everything, but if I have to tolerate RSW I would prefer him shirtless.

Oh right, that may be who I was thinking of instead. IIRC the rumors there were specifically about the Morgan actress and Ed Scott.

I loved Shayna Rose, the redhaired racing Stephanie too. I found it a unique look and character type. Most people hated her though. I've found every Stephanie since boring.

I think that's who you might be thinking of too.  Willow was pushed, but I don't remember hearing any rumors about her, but I actually thought she was much less likable than Morgan who didn't bother me.  She was just everywhere all at once.

Shayna Rose was definitely more interesting.  She wasn't as blandly pretty or cookie cutter as a heroine and I liked that for Steve/Kayla's daughter, but I remember most people disliking her.  She certainly looked more like a Steve/Kayla child than the two brunette actresses that followed her.  Stephanie, Belle, Abby, Melanie, etc all filled a very similar role in the mid 2000's and it would have been nice to see a more standout Stephanie.

JER loved to make everyone race car drivers on his shows back then for no real reason (E.J. and Max were both racers and I'm not sure E.J.'s origins there have been mentioned in aeons), but I actually thought the profession suited the child of an '80s supercouple from an era of high-octane action (and a man like Steve). Once she was dumped I found Stephanie became a much more conventional and boring heroine in both looks and persona.

Wow! This is bringing back a lot of memories. I remember back in the day, I was team Hogan Sheffer after that JER mess. Although, JER gave me Queen Kristen. And I will forever be truly grateful. But yeah, I was ready for Hogan to deliver, and well ...

God, I hated Willow. I didn't mind JER's first run, but when he came back with Salem Stalker and all that jazz, I became weary.
