Johnny Depp

Beginning Monday, December 26, rebroadcasts of the iconic Johnny Depp series “21 Jump Street” and the American crime drama “Wiseguy” join the Retro TV lineup, with both airing weekday evenings on the digital broadcast network.

Revolving around the cases of an undercover police unit composed of young-looking officers specializing in youth crime, “21 Jump Street” is credited for jumpstarting Depp’s career and features notable appearances from the early careers of Josh Brolin, Jada Pinkett Smith, Brad Pitt, Christina Applegate, Vince Vaughn and more. Episodes will air Monday through Friday at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Starring Ken Wahl as the titular character Vinnie Terranova, an agent with the Organized Crime Bureau who infiltrates dangerous criminal organizations, “Wiseguy” highlights the struggles he goes through to remain true to himself while becoming close to the criminal leaders he is sworn to bring down. Wahl departed the series after the show’s third season. He was replaced by Steven Bauer who played a former United States Attorney named Michael Santana.  The series also starred Jim Byrns and Jonathan Banks, who is now well known for his performance in the critically acclaimed series “Breaking Bad.” Episodes will air Monday through Friday at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT. A separate run of the show will also air on Saturday and Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

“As a big fan of television, we are thrilled to be able to bring these groundbreaking series to Retro TV viewers,” says Retro TV President Joel Wertman.

Viewers unable to get Retro TV in their area will be able to watch the network’s live stream on It’s Real Good TV, available on the web at watch.itsrealgoodtv.com or via the It’s Real Good TV app that can be downloaded to Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Firestick, and more.In addition to “21 Jump Street” and “Wiseguy,” the network airs reruns of such classics as “Doctor Who,” “Life with Betty” starring Betty White, “The Mickey Rooney Show,” “Naked City,” “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes,” “The Lucy Show,” “The Ray Bradbury Theater,” and many more. The network is also the exclusive home to the iconic soap opera “The Doctors,” and in 2021 added original series “Dracula’s Kung Fu Theatre.”
