Oh, that's easy. Why? Because I paused it, lol! What's so funny about that Hit List notebook is that the page before is a list of the same people but in a different order. His list includes:

  • Will
  • Sonny
  • Chad
  • Abigail  (dead)
  • Brady
  • Chloe

I watched some episodes for the first time in a long time today.

It confirmed my main criticism of the writer's approach to mystery stories,  There is a consistent pattern where the mystery starts with a shocker, but then there are no characters on screen working to solve the crime.  Lani is busy with family stuff, Shawn seems to be on paternity leave because he hasn't left the hospital, and so there's no character to work as the audience point of view to gather clues.  Instead it's a lot of red herrings about jewels and blackouts that we all know will not play a part in the final solution to the crime?

Also, while I get that Abby was married to a Dimera, did we ever see her wearing expensive jewels?  She doesn't seem like the type who would have collected the type of ugly stuff that Leo was trying to sell thru Clyde this week.

As for Abby's gruesome murder supposedly Rafe is completely covered up with the case but we aren't in on any of it.

I wasn't feeling well Sunday & fell over into a full word salad rush of any thought in my head without regard to being on topic. So sorry!

Well, what's crazier about Leo's stupid Hit List is that the name formation keeps changing. When I took a look at it when he was in the wine cellar, he had all of those names that I had listed. On Friday's episode (6/24), it seems that Will was not on there, but his name was listed earlier when he was hiding in the Dimera wine cellar. I know this because the wine cellar gave me such sweet memories of Queen Kristen.

I would add that what's even more illogical is that he's plotting against all of these people for ruining his wedding while they're still letting him enjoy the lifestyle of the Dimera Mansion and he seems to have no need to earn an income.  Craig couldn't have given him all that while working for a university hospital.

OMG. I'm really not trying to get off subject, but you did mention about how Leo is not earning an income. When Leo was at the Brady Pub and Clyde approached him about his fancy money clip, I thought Leo was about to ask Clyde if he wanted to go to the back for oral pleasure, lol! No, seriously! It was just the way that Leo was looking at Clyde and then looking at his crotch (because Clyde was standing up while Leo was sitting down). No, I'm not a pervert. It's just sometimes when I watch DAYS, it's either drag queens or men stripping down to their underwear for fundraising. I have no issue with either or, but it's just that if the storylines involve gay characters, then these are the things that heterosexuals (not all, but for the most part) perceive this subpopulation to be.

    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!

    • So, I have been in the hospital all week. I am close to being up to date on my soaps. Now I have to go to the Infusion Ctr daily to get IV antibiotics, for 6 weeks. I am frankly exhausted. A hospital is no place to be when you're sick. Hooked up to machines that go beep beep beep all day & night long. Someone wakes you up every hour on the hour for something, either to stick you with needles or to take your gosh-awful blood pressure for the umpteenth time. So, you don't get any sleep. Now I have a central line, upper right chest. After they "installed" it, I said, I am now Borg. They just stared at me. Apparently scifi is not general knowledge. What happened? I have an infection inside my big toe right foot & it burned the skin on my foot. The burned skin is already better. It was like a bad sunburn. The infection inside the toe is the issue. Oral antibiotics won't even get its attention. So, IV antibiotics plus time.

As Salem bids farewell to John Black on Monday, the "Days" family and fans say a final goodbye to Drake Hogestyn.   From his time as a young man playing baseball in the minor leagues for the New York Yankees to his almost four-decade run as John Black, Drake always did his best. And, while becoming a soap opera icon, he spent almost 40 years at "Days" telling the best stories and taking the younger cast under his wing to make sure they would do their best as well. Thank you, Drake, for the legacy you have left for everyone at "Days." The impact you made on the cast, crew and fans will never be forgotten...and that's a fact.
    • I found an interview with Joseph Breen (Will Jeffries) where he mentions that Reva was put in a coma so Zimmer could go to Hollywood to do a pilot (OMG, if ONLY it had been picked up, LOL) and that Sonni and Josh and Will became a popular with the audience while she was out of commission.  If you want to read the whole thing: https://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?id=47394 Breen was known for being very candid in interviews, I wish I could find more of them. I seem to recall he made a couple of snarky comments about Zimmer, implying she was not above acting like a diva. Sounded to me like he had a lot of respect for Forbes (who went on to have a very strong and varied career after GL).
    • I was so confused why Devon was prying into Nicks love life and then it clicked and I remembered they’re brother-in-laws. Shows how little I pay attention to this show anymore. I was like uh? Do these two even know each other this well?
