Hopefully GH’s casting team recognizes they need a powerhouse for this role and not someone who has to learn on the job. SM set a high bar. The next actress might be perfectly capable, but it would be like recasting, I dunno, Marcy Walker’s Eden on SB and expecting her replacement to have that rare connection with A Martinez.
