So, let me get this straight: Marlena is possessed by the devil (...again...), but instead of restraining her and performing an exorcism on her (...again...), they're just letting her run all over town like it's no big damn deal?

This isn't the same as Viki/Niki, Ron; and even then, if someone has been taken over by their alter ego, and others are hip to it, he/she should be confined to a mental institution until their personalities have integrated.

I give you the fat Jokes on Freddie were way out of line. My issue with Freddie came from Sept 2021 when he "Reviewed" Zach Tinker as Sonny and then thru Production under the Bus for not allowing his version of Sonny to act like Zach's.

Freddie you moved to Florida. Said No More DOOL & the show moved on. Continue to do the same.

The Devil is possessing and/or controlling more than just Marlena. The entity seems to jump in and out of her.  For example the devil entity was in Doug - Doug back in October, before it took Marlena.   It briefly possessed Susan, etc.  That's conventional possession where the entity is inside someone controlling them. Separately from that, this year's devil entity can also morph into taking on the appearance of other characters of any gender (out of thin air) such as Eileen's Kristen*, and others. Looks like it will do another tactic this week helping Jan Spears to morph into Belle's form.  It's taken a while for everyone to figure out what's going on.  John figured it out, but then MarDevil locked him up.  Shawn and Belle figured it out and the entity wants to stop them, so that's probably the reason for the Jan Spears scheme.

*yes Eileen was appearing as a devilish apparition of lustful Kristen while meanwhile elsewhere in Salem, Stacy was appearing as UnpossessedRealKristen who was plotting a jailbreak.  And meanwhile Stacy was appearing as UnpossessedSusan and briefly as PossessedSusan.

Eric Brady returns at the end of Friday Dec 24 episode (or beginning of following week). The Day of Days promo showed him in priest collar.  I assume he does the exorcism.

IDK all that and I didn't mean now, I mean while dude was on the show and peeps were on Sonny's case for "letting himself go" and championing Will/Paul because Paul was hot af. LOL Peeps were even looking past the crazy babysitter guy's wrongdoings and hoping he would end up with Will too, somehow.

and then we have Ben... a convicted serial killer with Bo and Hope's baby daughter... and people are just a-OK with that, while it makes me sick to my stomach whenever they're on my screen.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
