Wagner was awful last time and Kristina looked physically ill having to play their romantic scenes. They get along well IRL today, I believe, but a reunion of those two characters should never happen for so many reasons both onscreen and off. Felicia chose Mac, she's happy with Mac and it's redeemed the character.

I thought I was the only one who thought JW and KW were hella awkward as Frisco and Felicia when ever they last appeared.  The 50th?  I know it appears they get along well IRL now it did not seem that way at all onscreen.

Forget Jack!  Save the money for Vanessa lol.

Awesome that Kristina Wagner is back on contract.  GH should put John J. York(Mac), Tristan Rogers(Mac), Jon Lindstrom(Kevin & Ryan) & Leslie Charleson(Monica), as well as Kathleen Gati(Liesel) and Kin Shriner(Scott).  Drop the contract of Inga Cadarnel(Harmony) and some more baggage that's not needed. Others to consider for contract:  Tahj Bellow(TJ), Haley Pullos(Molly), & Joyce Guy(Phyllis).

Dagger to the heart.  Thanks.  I will never not advocate for a Brenda return lol.  See my avatar that I have had for like 12 years lol.

I mean, however they want to spin their private lives is their own.  It was certainly publicly filled with drama.  It felt awkward to me in the most cringey way.  So uncomfortable to watch as was Mac with his weird puppet.  That was such an odd Nurses Ball.  It was entertaining, but you had Brenda throwing bread at Carly one day and Frisco singing All I need the next day.  It was a lot.

I will say Jack singing All I Need was one for the books; that was the best part of his doomed return, he was amazing onstage. Even if Kristina looked ready to collapse during the entire song, poor thing. I had an old stupid joke in those days about deadbeat dad Frisco; how any time Maxie would call him for help she'd get a voicemail msg that would be him singing to the tune of All I Need: "Calling you is not what I have planned..."

I don’t think JW will ever be on GH again, or least till the show ends. I just don’t think he’s interested. Plus, like Vee said, it was just incredibly awkward for everyone last time he was on. I think even KW talked about how bad that whole experience was for her and she needed the rest of the cast to help her get through it.

Anyway, Felicia has always been my favourite GH character so this is great news. Thanks Steve and Ingo!

Dead lol.  At least they acknowledged Frisco was a deadbeat dad.  And, you know, I'd distance myself from Maxie as well if I were him lol.  I am always slightly irritated when the show pretends Robert/Anna weren't deadbeats.  ICONS.  I know, but they really left Robin hanging.

KW looked so uncomfortable during that singing.  And it's not even F&F's song lol.  He wrote it for Tania I think.

It's weird it was so awful for her.  They have acted in other things and co parent children.  They must have at least a semi cordial relationship.  Maybe these roles just bring it back for her.

Nah, I don't buy that for Robert and Anna. Anna in particular was either comatose or catatonic and struggling with brain damage for the duration of those years away. Robert, well, I never bought into Guza reinventing him as a deadbeat. I assumed he had been forced into service with that agency for those years.

Yes, but he cheated on her... a lot.

I was terrified Ron and Frank were going to try and force a Frisco and Felicia reunion bc of their '80s nostalgia, but thank God they didn't. It would've been not only unbelievably wrong for Felicia, it would've been so inhumane to KW.

    • I think Jason might've posted some numbers for the syndication a while ago and the numbers for Falcon Crest was horrible. Like 1.5 rating or something, which was terrible.    ETA: it was actually Paul Raven:   New to syndication 60 min Fall Guy 67 markets 3.1/8 Falcon Crest 110 markets 1.1/5 To get into the top 40, you needed a 4.6/9 rating for reference - and Falcon Crest managed to get into a lot of markets to begin with. In the fall of 1985 Dynasty, Dallas and Knots were syndicated (show / rating / share / coverage % / markets): Dallas 3.4 10 51.7 92 Dynasty 3.4 10 48.7 47  Knots Landing 3.3 10 12.5 20  So, Knots as an example trippled Falcon Crest's rating with 20 markets - I'm sure those were major ones but it just goes to show you how much Falcon Crest bombed in syndication.
    • It's not bad but the stories move too slow. It's the same problem when Dan O'Connor was CO-HW with Van Etten, they have a million stories and they all drag on endlessly with no resolution. I'd argue the majority of the stories airing now are good but you get sick of waiting months for something to happen.
    • Thanks. I must have missed that period entirely for Lifetime.
    • Thanks. I know Marland did that type of thing sometimes but it's less likely with these characters. I don't even remember Alex ever mentioning him.
    • French fan summary Rusty took over Simon's job at Lewis Trucking after Simon transferred to Lewis Oil's North Carolina office to live near Jessie and Calla. I doubt they would bother following up a story for offscreen characters eg marriage and a baby.
    • I suspected that the performance with the reveal was the reason why the Ted actor got the axe and it looks like I was right. He wasn't really good at conveying what needed to be conveyed in those scenes. Claybon is at least slowly improving (but I agree that he still needs to work on his line delivery), but I do wonder what will happen when his big reveal is coming up.
    • I've already asked this before, recently, but can anyone who watched those years more closely tell me if anything said about Jessie and Simon at the end of their profiles is accurate (about them marrying, naming a baby after Brandon/Lujack, etc.)?
    • Nicole is way too smart to not know she was carrying twins - she's a doctor! My guess is that Leslie did abort her baby out of fear, and as payback, stole Ted and Nicole's child (Eva), and stole Kat from another family to replace her in the hospital.
    • Those Soap Central profiles have a lot of incorrect info. According to SOD summaries and the Daytime Newsletter of the time,Tim left town for a new job and Pam reunited with the father of her baby and also departed Springfield. They did not marry.
    • Do we believe that Jabot is at the level of Estee Lauder?? I am on board with Jabot deciding to expand but the way it was handled was ridiculous. Jabot just decided and bingo, that was that. Not months of negotiations and decisions about how it would fit into the Jabot portfolio. And then no follow through. Josh thinks he's serving business stories by characters sitting around and discussing mergers, takeovers and job switching. Now we have Audra setting up her own company -Vibrator or something. Well, why not? You don't need staff, office space or even products.
