It’s hard to get invested in these stories because they just mutate into something different…. and stupid. A bit aimless. RC is lucky to have this writing staff to make the day-to-day at least somewhat watchable.

Yeah, it's been said before, but DAYS probably has the best breakdown writers because if they didn't then the show just would make less sense than it already is.
