Hopefully this means that down the line her and Susan Dansby inch closer to taking Josh Griffith’s job

I don’t want a woman of color holding the bag when the show is canceled.

Shannon Peace was the breakdown writer on today’s GH. Seems like she won a Disney/ ABC writing fellowship.

Shannon lists her GH job as full time; she started three months ago. Under contract?

So to meet budget they're firing vets and giving scripts to entry level assistants.

Hasn’t mostly every soap fan been wanting new blood for YEARS?

Scriptwriters don't determine story, plot or direction of the show. They write scripts from breakdowns that originate with the head writer(s) and outline writers. If you're looking for "new blood" with the potential for changing the direction of a soap, it won't be with  "newly hired/inexperienced" scriptwriters. Just saying.

If the shows want some new blood in the writers room, they sure can find it on this board.

Maybe he shouldn't be handing out contracts like they're pieces of hard candy. LOL.

Though I actually feel like I've noticed an improvement without Babs Bloom around so I'm not mad she's gone.

That's too bad. I doubt they listened to her anyway. She should be the headwriter, but I doubt she'd want it lol.

Can DAYS scoop her up next?

I can see Jamey Giddens fitting into Ron's writing team. Take that as you will.
