The Eli/Lani/Abe/Julie scene with the newborn twins is sweet.

I know a lot of people find James Reynolds boring, but he does have the warmth and gravitas of a great older soap patriarch.

That was a sweet loving gesture by Elani. Abe wouldn't so boring. If they bothered to properly use him.

Thankfully, I'm not one of them. I do consider him one of the patriarchs of DAYS.

It looks like Will's already gone. Disappearing without a goodbye scene. But i'm pretty sure. Will had fun at all the off screen holiday orgies in Salem.

I agree, and I think he’s fantastic. Very few actors play emotion as well as well as he does. In a perfect world, the Carvers would be a major family in Salem, and Abe would be mediating sibling rivalries and turf wars. But he’s marginalized, and when they tease him with someone like Kate, a vibrant and connected character, it doesn’t excite people because there’s nowhere to go with that pairing. He’s a story dead end. And that’s a writing problem, not a JR problem.

The more I think about it, the more I think that Kate would hurt him. They're much better off as friends. We'll see what happens when Jackee Harry comes on.

Anna's really been a lot of fun to watch the past couple of episodes. I especially loved the scene where she's teasing Kate. I think she and Tony are best in small doses, but I hope the show continues to bring them back periodically, not just during the holidays.

I just watched the last couple of episodes. Anna has been the highlight. So fun.

I want Kate and Jake to work things out 🥺

Will's return was really pointless lol. The thing people would've cared about most was seeing him with Marlena, and that was likely cut.

I didn't dislike Sami and EJ, but Sami and Lucas always seemed like endgame to me. And with James Scott saying that he's never going back to DAYS, I think it's time for a Sami and Lucas reunion.
