Make no mistake: I despised Chuck Woolery's MAGA-fueled opinions at the end, but I won't celebrate his death. I will save that for one person.

You can guess.

At least Chuck was entertaining on Love Connection and - in later years - Lingo. So, I'll just remain laser focused on that and offer condolences to those that knew and liked/loved him. I barely remember him from early Wheel of Fortune, too. So, I'll remember him for his game show prowess and leave it there.

Celebrating the death of someone who wasn’t primarily known for murder or SA or what have you is so weird to me. Chuck’s politics have literally nothing to do with why he was famous, and it’s still a sad day to lose another legendary host. They’re almost all gone.

I've been seeing a lot of people celebrating this news. I understand why, but right now I'm just remembering his smooth style on Love Connection, which was always a good background watch.

Didn't he do SCRABBLE? I don't get why people are celebrating.

People who are celebrating... Have some serious issues going on mentally.

Rest in peace!

Come to think of it, the only game show hosts of that generation (as in age 80+) that are still with us AFAIK are Wink Martindale and Bob Eubanks.

Bob Eubanks won't stop 'til he's asked everyone about the strangest place where they made whoopie.

Because of his political views. Most millennials and Gen Z only remember him for political views on social media.

IDK, as a famous person, with a podcast, if Mr. Woolery wanted to make a buck off his BS values, then it is fair game for social media to slam him for it. And those who oppose civil rights for all are rarely applauded upon their deathbed.

Slamming him, yes. Not applauding him, yes. Celebrating his death as if we benefit from him dying is weird, IMO. I think back to when Pat Robertson died and my reaction was “Oh well.” That’s just me, though.
