Hopefully, it is. The issue is that they now need to determine how long the antibody response lasts thanks to the vaccine. What is troubling is that in people who have had Covid-19, the antibodies their body generates do not appear to last long based on current studies to date.

I wonder if this means we'll end up needing more than one shot a year or if the disease will continue to mutate and we'll need a new vaccine every year or so.

At this point, even a vaccine that can minimize the worst of the effects of COVID-19 would be a big step in the right direction.

That's for sure. Things are going to get hellish once schools open if we don't get some vaccine or therapeutic that works.

The worst part of Woolery's BS is I have a feeling the stuff with his son might have just been used by him because of backlash. He's absolute scum.

Anyway...there are so many stories like this but my heart just breaks for her.

He called out everybody but Trump and the Republicans. There's Republicans out there that will sacrifice their love ones for their lord and master Trump.

Considering the thread, I think this belongs here as well as the Politics thread. A new ad from The Lincoln Project. And this one is not funny. Or snarky.

It is, however, chilling:

I have heard a number of Black people say that they don't trust any vaccine coming from the Trump administration (one of many reasons, I've been hoping that another country, other than the U.S. will be the prominent country to distribute the vaccine first) but I had wondered how other communities view a vaccine being distributed in the U.S.  I don't know whether this is true though.

He is completely delusional, isn't he?

Whenever I see him, which admittedly isn't that often because the mere sight of him usually makes me switch channels or something, I'm amazed at the fact that he actually was elected president.

After almost 4 years I can still hardly believe that it's actually true.
