YR: Some upcoming returns for EB's 40th Anniversary

According to soaps.com Robert Adamson (Noah) Meg Bennett (Victor's first wife Julia) and Rober Parucha (his brother Matt Miller) are all returning to Y&R from Feb 18 to 20 for Eric's 40th anniversary special.

Kind of surprised about Paracha as he didn’t return as Matt a few years ago. Always excited to see Meg Bennett/Julia.

On Facebook, Jaime Lyn Bauer said she was asked back for a few shows but wasn’t available so I guess they wanted Lorie in too.

Parucha had been approached before but wasn't available when it came time to  tape.

 

However when Matt returned under Mal Young Parucha said in a SOD interview he wasn't contacted.

 

Matt is a character that was wasted by being ignored all those years.

I'll be happy to see Meg Bennett again.  Her presence is sorely needed on any soap, IMO.

I wish they'd stop bringing Robert Adamson back. Noah is the legacy character they need most for the next generation but RA brings nothing to the table

 

We need Meg Bennett back in the writers room!

Adamson just looks too old to be playing Sharon and Nick's son.

The problem goes back to SORASING Noah for no reason back in the late 2000's. They should have held off till later and brought Noah on as a teen.

So far they're holding off on making the same mistake with Faith.

Look at the debacle that was Charlie and Mattie.

I'd be more excited if Kevin Schmidt return, but I agree If Noah were to be bought back full time..they'd need to cast WAYY younger...at least someone who is 25-26.

I liked seeing the teaser clip of Victor speaking at the gala in this Michael Fairman article. I see Noah, Julia and Matt in it. As well as the other video that showed the clip of his past from this article. I look forward to looking at all of the old scenes they will show featuring Victor in the past.

I checked my DVR listings and it seems that the celebration will last most of the week (starting on Tuesday the 18th). Nikki throws a gala to celebrate Victor and the 50th anniversary of Newman Enterprises.
