I like the idea of a female "Equalizer," but Queen Latifah?

I'd much rather see Gina Torres.  She kicked ass on "Angel" and "Firefly" AND USA just cancelled her series, "Pearson," today.

Saw it last night.

I liked it. I'm surprised at how much I liked it.

Didn't like the daughter angle, but potential.

And it's great seeing Ivy from DOLLHOUSE, Lorraine Toussaint, and Mr. Big.

Curious to see how ratings would do without Super Bowl. I mean other than reality tv and CW superhero shows what else is on on Sunday?

Yeah, I enjoyed it too. It’s pretty much by-the-numbers and predictable af, but QL sold it well. That said, I wouldn’t seek it out or make it appointment viewing, but it might draw me in for an episode if I somehow stumbled upon it.

I figured this should probably go into the CBS section, @Toups. Thanks.

Loved it!  Watched it 3 times already 😁

Lol!!! That's how I feel about it. I am really, really surprised by how much I liked it. I was talking my co-worker's ear off today.

Every once in a while you need that...what I like to call popcorn fare...where it is what it is. Kinda like THE RESIDENT EVIL movies. I know it doesn't have any major plot and it's just a redhead kicking zombie butt...and I'm FINE WITH THAT. lol. Just a feelgood feeling.

I got that from this. And my writer side could see it getting complicated later on. But for a pilot...it was good. But I am a sucker for the actress from DOLLHOUSE. lol.

Agree. For all that...I still liked it. Perhaps it's the fact that like you said QL sold it for me. Or just memories of the original show as a kid with my mom. But I'm down for its barebones (for now) plot.

People seem to be enjoying it and I always love Latifah. I'll have to check it out.
