About time. And personally? I'm thrilled they recast.

 

Hopefully Ava finally has someone in her corner (seemed that way from today when he seemed disappointed she passed out on him, he seems to care) other than pathetic Julian. I also like the Laura/Ava friendship-ish thing developing.

    The actor is 41. Tyler Christopher is 46.  Nick Stabile is 49. A decent de-aging. Cute actor.

     

    At least they didn't go the route Y&R went with NuAdam:  Mark Grossman is 32 and Justin is 42.

    Ahhh but Grossman is the closest to Adam's real age.

    Hope this doesn't send TC back to the bottle because a few months ago, he was really trying to get fans to rally for him to return as Nik.

    Yeah, but I can't blame the network for recasting in such precarious circumstances. And acting is a high-pressure job. It may no longer be the right kind of job for TC if his sobriety is still a fragile issue.

    Oh, I agree.  TC is an addict and that's difficult to work with.  He has not been sober long enough for anyone to trust that he won't relapse.  I wish him the best.  

     

    I honestly wanted Nik/Ava with TC in the role (when I was watching) but it is what it is.  I'll check out clips.

    Looks to be a great re-cast!  He's got a mix of Coltin Scott/Stephen Martines  and Tyler Christopher.   Hope he's a good actor.  I do think it's a shame the show didn't give Nick Stabile a contract to play Nikolas, he was good in the role and had great chemistry with Maura West(Ava).
