Oh, he'd return.  I don't care what he said the last time he came back (he was glad to be back, but he can't commit long-term because his speaking schedule's so busy, blah blah blah).  Anyone could come back if the price is right.

Not if I can convince Frank Valentini to take her on as the new Miranda Jacks, the fourth wheel in the Jax/Nina/Valentin/Miranda quadrangle.

So, NOBODY currently on DAYS is a front-runner for Victoria Newman?

Or are we just waiting a year for Gina Tognoni to be forgotten (NEVER!) as Phyllis so she can FINALLY get this role?

But, I digress...

Judi Evans IS Regina Romalotti, Gina’s long-lost daughter!

Here's where I'd make an exception to my "No more resurrections!" rule:  Jaime Lyn Bauer (Laura) as B&B's back-from-the-dead Beth Logan.  (Don't ask me how I'd make that happen.) And yes, I'd pair her with John McCook's Eric.

If it brings back Patty Weaver, then I'm down for it!

You could say Gina gave birth to Cathy (sorry, but I'm not calling Judi's character "Regina," lol) while she was in prison.  Obviously, Gina wasn't able at that time to raise a child, so she gave Cathy up to her and Danny's cousin, Judy, played by Gloria Loring (ex-Liz, DAYS).  Judy raised Cathy while working as a professional singer in California.  However, when Cathy recently became ill and needed a kidney transplant, that's when Judy confessed the truth about her "daughter's" origins.

Nope.  He's on GH now, as a new doctor, who turns out to be Nikolas' fraternal twin brother.  (But not before he almost goes to bed with Lulu.)

Granted, this would be a REALLY long shot, but if Y&R ever wanted to bring back Casey Reed, and if Roberta Leighton couldn't return for whatever reason, then I would try like hell to get Lisa Hartman Black (ex-Ciji/Cathy, KNOTS LANDING) to sign on.  She's another actress/singer, along with John's nemesis, Patty Weaver, and Gloria Loring, whom I miss seeing on my soaps.

Sorry, Khan, but I cast Judi, and she’s playing Regina!

Cathy is Judi’s SECOND role on Y&R, though—Paul’s white-trash cousin who’s hot for Jack.

Lisa Hartman IS Dannii Romalotti, Gina’s OTHER long-lost daughter!

But I think we all know that Kim Zimmer IS Dr. Casey Reed!

Yes, please!

And while we're at it, Greg Vaughan could return as Diego. He's too stunning to be left on the sidelines.

Nadia Bjorlin as Mac (no disrespect intended to Kelly Kruger). I think she and Jason Thompson would be fireworks across from each other.

    • Was Blake the product of Roger raping Holly, or did that come after when they were a couple?
    • I really wish we could see that episode...absolutely, my memory could be faulty, it was a very long time ago. I'm not going to contradict what the actors said--there has to be a reason it made them so uncomfortable that they talked about it in the press and complained to TPTB. I think that was the first one where they made the point that they wanted to educate the audience about the subject.
    • I just did with GL and its made me very happy!

Oh yes, trying to get into any soap from scratch starting post-2010 would be hard. I prefer to go back to the good ol' days, before the decline.
    • Can we talk about how iconic the 1994 tornado was on AMC? I was scanning through old episodes last night and came across this episode. The tornado was epic and the storylines/aftermath were so good (Julia's scar/Noah!; Jenny/Ray/Nola/Jesse in heaven with Tad, etc).  For 1994, these special effects and budget for this big event were amazing. 10 out of 10!  The only thing missing is Erica!  I can't recall where Erica was at the time, but I really wish she had been involved in this storyline.

    • On the way to her own engagement party? I've read that the show had trouble getting the audience to sympathize with Rita, but...that seems bizarre. Maybe I can understand the issue with the censors, given that at the time, rape wasn't depicted the way it is now, and marital rape was even less acknowledged.  Wasn't Chris Brooks' rape one of the first honest stories on the subject? I just don't think I could get into a show I didn't have a working knowledge of. I know it's a different era, but I really tried to get into GH once Maura West joined, but it just never jelled.
    • Yes it was! My mom and I convinced my dad to get one. He was--how shall I put this?--on the thrifty side, but one day he came home with one as a surprise. To this day, I'm convinced it fell off a truck. (He knew people with "connections."

) BUT, we had our VCR and we could watch our soaps. That thing lasted forever! It was built like a tank. Even when we got new ones with more features, we kept that one.

Blasphemy!  (Haha, I get it.  But, you should try watching AMC! 80s-90s was so good.)
    • I thought about saying how I resented the fact that those two newbies were tripping up the Puppetmaster of all Puppetmasters, when the best others could do was a stalemate (or less...). But, well...*sigh*
    • I read years ago that both Zaslow and Lenore both complained that it came off as a seduction because of CBS censors, so Lenore asked if she could say, "you raped me" to leave no doubt with the audience, and that Zaslow insisted that Holly's rape played realistically
    • Wow it’s official, Gatwa is out… https://www.avclub.com/ncuti-gatwa-addresses-doctor-who-finale-statement DW fandom on Reddit is in a furor over how things went down and apparent last minute scrapping of the original ending. Also…Billie Piper again really?
