Thanks FrenchFan,

After his story line with Traci being dropped DG/Cane is back to not having any story line. But this time he's not getting any air time, this go around.  When his story line with AH/Victoria was dropped he was on only one episode a month for a couple of months after. This is even worse for him than that with no appearances. He should have embraced his story line with BM/Traci more. I don't know when we will see Cane again. I haven't seen any spoilers regarding him, including in the Fall preview. His family is not around and he really doesn't hardly any connections left on the canvas.

And Adam/Nick are on too much.

Bryton has 59 episodes for 8 months of work and Mark Grossman has 64 for *3 and a half* months. Despite liking him, you can’t convince me it makes any sense to give ANY new actor that much screentime. I bet he’ll end in the top ten despite missing so much of the year.

LOL, I find it hilarious that Goddard didn't appear in August at all and apparently from what I read on another site won't been seen in September either. This has to be it for Goddard, might as well give him a quiet off-screen exit with Jill dropping a line saying Cane has decided to go back to Australia and help Phillip III out on the ranch.

It really doesn't seem like they have any plans for his character anytime soon. There was a spoiler that was supposed to happen a couple of week ago that said that Traci would question her feelings for Cane during that week. But that never played out. And I don't think he will be involved in the new storyline that is coming for Traci. I wonder what the show may do with him.

    • I think Dani cares about her sister, but I agree with you. She's using this whole mess to be heard and make herself feel better. I wish Ted and Eva told her to fck off. I had to laugh when Dani commented on her and Anita confronting Ted. She acted as if they destroyed him. That's not what I saw. Dani has been dialed back from those first weeks, but I can't say she's likable. As long as she's throwing shade at Eva for her work as a hairstylist -- while ignoring that she did nothing except eat celery sticks and walk the runway -- she can kiss off. Barely tolerable, and Lindstrom is terrible in the role. I don't find him scary at all, and his money laundering plan is stupid as hell. I gagged when he texted Vanessa to ask if she was thinking about him. That's throw up time.   I just don't see how that makes Ashley any more interesting. And are we really asking for another storyline where a father connects with his adult daughter? I know there's no direct parallel to Eva's story, but come on. If you're in the minority, I'll join you. I have zero interest in any of that. -- I still fail to see Nicole and Vanessa as best friends. Nicole is grounded and stable and responsible, and Vanessa is not. It made more sense to have Dani and Vanessa being close. -- Ashley and Derek were actually OK today. I feel sorry for the actors, honestly, because they've been given nothing. It's crazy, because so much of the rest of the show is firing on all cylinders.
    • Same. But given how the writers like to have her have good moments and bad moments...and Dani has been background as of late...it's about time she had some bad moments.
    • I don’t even know why you responded to the bait.
    • I only watch for Sharon and she’s barely on. The only good thing going at the moment is Jack and Diane scenes and they’ve made Diane such a wuss lately which is making that unbearable to watch too
    • I feel like Earl Hamner and his crew brought in Richard* BECAUSE they knew almost right away that Robert Foxworth was so dull as Chase.  At any event, Richard, IMO, proved to be much more interesting as Angela's chief adversary. (*Or brought him back, depending on whether we're including the original "Vintage Years" pilot).
    • And it will also eventually air S2, which will air its finale in Canada this Thursday, May 15th! https://tvline.com/news/law-and-order-toronto-criminal-intent-season-1-2-the-cw-1235449356/ As an American that has managed to watch it in real time, it's very good. Frankly, I think it's the best of the L&O franchise as of now.
    • You are getting like me. It's getting to the point that without any Damian sightings...it's been the fashion that is holding my interest. And it should not be that way at all.
    • I don't mind Jan either. If anything, they could be using her more to get her daughter's POV. Not to mention her role as one of the Have-Nots.    I also don't mind the local talent. Just look at soaps that were in NY or the shows that film there, they always go for the local talent and we get to find new faves.
    • I'm not going to watch (because...well...that M-dude...lol) but knowing the history between Henry and Roger, I could see Henry wanting to enable Hart to stay independent of Roger. I could even see it as Henry having the last laugh at Roger. Roger hated "the Henry's" of the world, which basically meant anyone who had money and social prominence. Twice Roger swindled Henry out of a chunk of his fortune, so giving some to Hart, who hates his father, is a form of karma.
