I really hated how OLTL killed Mel and Dorian's relationship.  It was one of the few things Claire Labine did right during her HW'ing stint there.

RIP Mr. Markle.  You will be missed.

I loved him with Dorian. He was clearly too ill to be back full-time in the final years of OLTL when they brought him back as Mel's ghost, but it was still a pleasure to see him. RIP.

I never liked Mel and found him insufferable when he would somehow imply Dorian wasn't on Vicki's level. However, Markle was remarkably charismatic and talented as an actor. RIP

I always hoped Mel would be revealed alive, hidden away after a story got him targeted for death. Then when OLTL ended, Mel & Dorian could have reunited

I didnt mind David/Dorian but Mel challenged her & vice versa

I never liked Mel as a character, but Stephen Markle was a great actor with an incredible amount of charisma and I'm sorry to hear he has passed.

I would have loved seeing him on Lemay-era AW.
