Is Max Gail the oldest Supporting Actor winner ever?

Max Gail now holds the record for being the oldest actor (76 years, 30 days) at the time of their Daytime Emmy win. The previous record was James Reynolds when he won Lead Actor last year. James, Max, and the late Jeanne Cooper are the only Daytime Emmy acting winners that were over age 70 at the time of their wins.

I do wonder if these kids are being shortchanged by these current shows, with their lack of rehearsal, etc. They don’t get the opportunity to really develop as much anymore.

Lack of rehearsal, lack of direction.  Many of the most experienced actors are no longer working on soaps for various reasons, so experience is not being passed on as well as an assembly-line type of production.  A multitude of reasons.

Maria Arena Bell would be proud of that headline wherever she is..

Yeah, she loved former sitcom actors. That's how we got Eddie Winslow.

what's the point of this Kathie Lee thing??

That the producers of this webcast were hard up for segments to fill airtime.
