The Ozy scandal is insane and he comes off like a narcissist con man in every major piece on it, tbh. He was clearly focused on branding himself as (a direct quote from their fake PR mailers) 'Anderson Cooper meets Oprah' and burnishing his personal brand as a media personality from quotes written by his own people and attributed to major outlets, while building this scam company. He doesn't appear 'indirectly involved' based on the NYT piece or others.

That's the vibe I keep getting. I think he knows a lot more than he's saying.

I'm not that interested in the matter beyond a superficial curiosity, tbh. If he is in deep, he likely face the harshest penalties and stiffest blowback. Like I said, I haven't even kept up with what he's been doing since his earliest days at MSNBC.

Another thing I have no deeper interest in but is somewhat fascinating is the fact that Facebook, What's App (which I never joined) and IG (had an account for all of two weeks) seem to all be temporarily imploding right now.

Some essential yet overlooked aspects pertaining to the type of climate and circumstances that allowed an Ozy to exist.

These sections jumped out at me, as they are fairly obvious and sad.

The fact that certain advertisers have keyword block lists that include words like "Black people" is the reason how/why we get a smoke and mirrors operation like Ozy.

I saw the reports about that. Hopefully the AT&T execs get their feet held to the fire on this one.

Considering the fact that AT&T have been bad actor almost consistently for years, I won't hold my breath on that one.

I know, but it's nice to hope...a little.
