I haven’t been that crazy about Annika Noelle, but damn if that wasn’t gut-wrenching.

I hate Hope and Annika is so unlikeable in the role. All her screaming and crying was so annoying.

I hate to admit it, but I felt the same way.

“Dead baby” is the easy tearjerker material, but once Hope got past the exaggerated moaning (which B&B almost seemed to be playing for laughs at certain points), I thought AN knocked it out of the park. I totally bought the transitions from delirious hope to anxiety as she realized Liam was holding something back to the horror of seeing “her” lifeless baby.

Honestly I'm kind of living for the storyline for now. They did a good job with the setting of it all and I thought AN was really on point with her acting (although I have to see today's episode still).

I see Thudley has attempted to pull off another Emmy grab over another dead baby for Amber and Rick  I mean well given the spoilers of:

Spoiler

Reese has swapped out the baby, and Taylor is not the one who shot Bill after all.

I completely agree. The writing for Hope is bad, but Annika does nothing for th3 material. She’s managed to make a character unlikeabke who’s supposed to be sympathetic.

The screaming and crying was unbearable. Of course, that’s her Emmy reel, and th3 daytime Emmys are such a joke, she’ll get a nomination.

Dito! HATE Hope and would have thrown a biiiiiiiig party IF she had died, but I also thought that the actress handled this highly difficult material with lots of class.

Whilst the 8000th episode in total was a bit so-so, I din't despise it despite being Hope&Liam-centric. I'm curious as to how this story plays out. The set-up has been really well done.

This entire episode just left me agitated.  I can't stand Liam and he was even more annoying than ever taking forever and a day to break the news to Hope.  If you don't like Liam or Hope, those scenes were torture, and not in the way the show intended.

That's not true. I don't like either Liam or Hope but I thought the scenes were very well done and I thought AN was excellent.

I agree. I thought she did a great job. I actually stopped what I was doing to watch and was moved. But I’m not sure I have the patience for another protracted baby switch story.

Yawn. To AN and to Wayne Brady and his lopsided head.  And to Scott Clifton and the suddenly OK Don Diamont and Thorsten Kay tolerance and baby-talking Brooke.  Yawnnn.
