That 2002 to present list just cements what was wrong with the Guza/JFP era for me.  Steve Burton was gone for several years, but he was on so much back then that he is still in the top three.

 

Even though I loved Julie Marie Berman as Lulu she ranks higher than people that have been on the show for decades, and she was only on the show for 8 years covered in this time.  Less than Dominic and he is only barely higher than her.

 

After Liz and Alexis, the next most used character has a thousand fewer episodes. This is crazy!

Yes, he is on the overall list with his 2 appearances.  McWatt wasn't contract and neither was Lipton at first, he was upgraded in October.

After looking @JAS0N47‘s latest update with DAYS all time stats, the 2002 to today list for this show is even crazier to me.

 

Maurice is only a couple of hundred of shows down in this period compared to Alison Sweeney’s entire run on DAYS.  Many people complained that she was on too much over the last ten years of her time on that show.  Maurice truly had been featured way too much.  I didn’t need this to be confirmed, but seeing it in raw numbers is crazy.

DAYS rarely ever has someone over 200 episodes for a year, that used to be very common for GH.  Usually they had multiple who hit that number in a year.
