Yes you are. Doug was in love with Julie but their relationship was so complicated that Doug ended up marrying Addie, Julie's mom. They got Hope and after Addie's death, Doug and Julie finally tied the knot.

 

DAYS is, I think, the most complicated soap when it comes to family relations.

Am I right in thinking Kyler Pettis who played Theo might have been gay? I suddenly realised towards the end of his tenure that he was quite camp. He actually improved quite a lot towards the end.

I don't think he is out officially but you're probably not the only one to believe it.

@Edward Skylover Loving your Tripp avatar!  Though there are better pics of him out there.  Can barely see his face since it seems he is looking downward.

Haha, I like the elusive look of him in the photo  I might change it down the line. I almost changed it to one of Jennifer as I've got a bit of a crush on her, I also should try and make a Kate or Ciara one.

Not that I know much about the connections, but the problem with Eli seems to be that he's just incredibly annoying. At least the actress who plays Valerie is good. She needs more to do.

 

On another note, how ill-matched are JJ and Lani? Regardless of the story they don't seem right together. I think it's because she seems so much older and more mature than him. He comes across as quite immature and needy.

 

I really hope they ditch a Will/Sonny reunion and go for a Will/Paul union.

 

Brady has grown on me since this Eve story. I like them together.

Hey, I’d love that to be true in this case, but I see no real interest in developing those characters at this point. Wouldn’t it be cool to see Gregg Marx on a soap again? He looks amazing still.

Ugh Claire is despicable. Ciara tells her that she and Tripp were nearly murdered and she's all like 'so what's going on with you and Tripp'. Awful girl. Pretends behind those big blue eyes that she's sweetness and light. At least Ciara is openly a bitch. No idea what Tripp sees in Claire. She's never satisfied. Not much a fan of this Steve/John/ISA story.

The music is AWFUL. If they upgraded the music it would change the show completely. It’s been this terrible garbage for years now.

The music on all the soaps is bad nowadays.

Agreed. It makes the acting look bad but in reality the acting is quite good. They need external sets and a music upgrade (or to ditch the music entirely) and then the show would look good. I think the US soaps have struggled to modernise. I guess it's down to budget. I know we won't get external sets but I don't see a reason why the music couldn't be sorted.

The music is good on Neighbours and Home & Away. They don't have music on UK soaps (perhaps on Hollyoaks? I don't watch that one).
