It's odd how much, from the side, in that picture, Max Gail looks like Ron Hale, just minus the hair on the top of his head. Good casting at least in terms of looks and I like Max Gail.

It's interesting though as it feels like the show forgot about Mike. It's been like 8 years and rarely, if at all, he's mentioned.

A former sitcom star?  Are you sure Maria Arena Bell isn't running GH these days?

Actress Suanne Spoke, who played Rita the bartender in New York in scenes with Jason  and then Drew and Sam will be coming to town as Mike Corbin's girlfriend.  I enjoyed her and mentioned  here on SON that they should find a part for her.

Is she playing the same character or a new character

She's playing Rita again.

When she was on last summer, she reminded me of the old days when you had quirky characters like Trixie Monahan (Darlene Conley), Slick Jones (Eddie Ryder), a character actress.

yeah she reminded me of When Stella Stevens playd Jake and both Pat Healy and Tamara Clatterbuck were Alice. Both of those characters dated Mike Corbin

It should have been Sonny's step dad cast so that Deek can put his ass in a dark closet and leave him there like the good ole days!

That's very true about populating Port Charles with "character actors".  I also seem to remember a lady during the 80s that used to sell warm chestnuts on the docks, and also, gave background story to a character who really needed to hear it!
