January 7, 20187 yr Member It's actually quite a shock to see Brenda Dickson on a recent SOD cover! it's almost like we went back 30 years ago!
January 7, 20187 yr Member Last weeks issue had a Genie Francis weight loss interview which read like an ad for Nutri Systems... which it probably was. Sad...
January 7, 20187 yr Member On what planet is Nathan's paternity a "shocker"? We've known for a couple of years now that Faison was probably his father.

What? they went there? I would be shocked that Liesl kept that secret given her obsession with him. But it has been a while since I watched. I am also done with the RECASTS article myself.
January 7, 20187 yr Member I have a slight, morbid curiosity about their Best Recast choices. I can see it now: Susan Batten as Connor Walsh! Wesley Ann Pfenning as Alice Frame! Charity Rahmer as Belle Black! Kathleen Tolan as Mary Ryan Fenelli! Ann Hamilton as Mindy Lewis! Jayne Bentzen as Nicole Travis Drake! Darius McCrary as Malcolm Winters! Kelli Marony as Tina Clayton! Patricia Everly as Peggy Brooks! EEEK!
January 7, 20187 yr Member They didn't even include some of the shows you listed vetsoapfan. OLTL was mentioned, but not the other shows you had listed..
January 7, 20187 yr Author Member I can't remember the last time I picked up an SOD. I use to buy the SOW mag instead. And only when it had a great cover/story I like which was mainly ATWT topics. I think the last SOW I bought and still own is the one where Diego is killed during his wedding to Lily. All the suspects are on the front cover with Lily pointing a gun at the camera.

Patricia Everly was hired to play Peggy Brooks on Y&R in 1979. The original actress in the role, Pamela Peters, had walked out, so this was not originally meant as a temporary replacement. Everly was not a good actress, however, and TPTB quickly let her go. Eventually, the show managed to lure Peters back and she returned to Y&R until the character was written off permanently.
