Oh I know, but it's nice to dream. They have Rick & Maya, but they won't touch an interracial coupling where the man is black. And we know why.

P.S. There was also Lark Voorhies' Jasmine, hooking up with Dylan or Sly.. not sure if they ever got very far with either pairing, but again, black woman/white man. It's "safer" because that way, no white man's ego gets bruised...

Perhaps Brad thinks that he covered that with the Maya story as well, so he can focus on his signature story of a pointless, uninspired love triangle where people get married to each other every six months and we pretend that we don't remember that this is their seventh marriage to each other.

See Maya and Rick are right there as an interracial couple and they are so nonexistent that I forgot. Bradley hasn't written anything for them since they got married.

I think it was Sly she hooked up with but I could be wrong.

What B&B should do is bring back Tony & Kristen, Thorne and Felicia.

Have Tony & Kristen (with the Zende/Nicole/Rick/Maya quad) start their own fashion house, Thorne (with a non-dead Aly) working with Ridge at Forrester & Felicia (with SORASed bad boy Dominick) as Spectra's co-head designer.

That's at least 3-4 years of story.

There arent many black men on this show period (which is an even bigger problem), but when there are, they do get paired with white women. Carter is more an anomaly in recent years

Let's not forget the other fine AA lawyer - Justin. JG had great chemistry with him. And her best (limited) work was when Donna revealed she was indeed Marcus' mother. I always wondered why they never got Justin more involved with the likes of Brooke or Katie.

Oops, forgot about Marcus/Steffy and Marcus/Amber.

Re: Justin/Donna, yup, and they had an off-screen breakup. Justin casually mentioned to Bill that they realized they were better off as friends, or some such nonsense. The show was really invested in them as a couple, weren't they...

I CANT with this show. As per his request, Thomas asked the judge to spare Sally jail time in favor of Spectra shutting down. She didnt go to jail, and therefore had to shut down Spectra. So today, he pays the building's rent and Spectra is back in business. WTF? What about the judge's ruling? Did Eric drop the charges or did Thomas' testimony fix things. This show cant keep its story straight here

who the hell is Emmy?

well I already mentioned that and my point was the show is being inconsistent. Either Eric was responsible or Thomas. Cant have it both ways. If its Thomas as they keep claiming, then Sally cant reopen Spectra which they were acting like was a possibility yesterday

Seriously, Thomas pays to save Spectra after what they did to his grandpa's company?

And wasn't part of the plea bargain that Sally had to shut down Spectra for good???

    • Slower day, but not bad. I thought Tomas was at his personal best today, flirting with Kat at Uptown.  Hayley is pregnant!  Oh boy... Samantha felt more like the babysitter today vs. the young sister. I'm ready to meet Sharon. I want a strong dynamic so it's not a repeat of what we just saw with Tracy's reunion.
    • They've been on same day for three episodes, which is a good thing because the days flowed weird to me before.
    • I see both Lois and BLQs sides re Gio BLQ wanted her son to be happy. Lois wanted to make sure it happened, so she gave him to family. Selfish?  Yes, but I get it Gio was raised by a loving mother and extended family. Lois followed BLQ wishes Great acting by AS & RS

date: Tuesday, May 27 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford I feel bad for Chelsea; she's exploring her feelings, and they're getting [unintentionally] hurt. But I love the support that Katherine has for her cousin. Bradley, you deserve one hundred times better than Deadbeat. So much more. Anita essentially tossing Tracy out... whew. She's done. DONE. Ouch... Chelsea hit the nerve with Katherine. How interesting... I feel like Tracy is becoming the mirror Anita has been avoiding while being a Dupree. What are these top secret things she's harbouring? I really hope Jessica's interest in Tyrell is genuine, because if it isn't, it might just destroy him. Back alley meetings? Your family? As if Bradley is not part of your family... Deadbeat, sit your ass down. Hey, Childbride, lower your damn voice. You're in the country club, not the country field where your ass belongs. And oh God, she's knocked up. Whew... here we go! Dante Greene, what control did this man have? But I appreciate that Anita and Tracy are uniting together; I pray that Sharon joins them soon. I love how easy Katherine and Tomas are with each other; it's smooth, it's natural and it's blooming in all the right ways. Hayley is about to battle the Dupree women for all she's worth. I am calling it right now. The unwavering support Vernon continues to provide to Anita is paramount; I adore them as the couple they are. Notes: Mike Manning (Bradley) continues to show up time and time again in scenes with Brandon Claybon (Deadbeat), who brings nothing to the table. There is an extreme lack of romantic chemistry between them. I'm wondering how different Dante Greene is going to be in comparison to Berry Gordy Jnr; we know the true history of Diana Ross and the Supremes, but how different will it be with Anita Williams and the Articulettes?
    • This episode is beyond excellent Could have waited on tge Trina Kai scenes  but regardless  great soap
    • Haha same! I didn't like her in the beginning, but over time, I've really grown to love to hate her as a villain.  I can't wait to listen to today's new episode later tonight! I've been waiting for the mom and dad (Crystal/Vincent) to have an interaction, so I'm happy to hear it's today.
    • I've always really been enjoying the show. It's very well produced and has so many soap stars in it. I was just listening to ep 7 on YoutTube and can say I'm hooked. There was an intense scene with Crystal Chappell and Vincent Irizarry about halfway through that was GOOD! Is it bad I kind of like Mina? I know she's supposed to be the main villian
    • This isn't a bad episode, but I'm finding myself not as engaged. Must be the lack of Eva and Leslie. No Nicole, Dani.
    • Yes!! I didn't realize it before, and had a busy weekend, so wasn't here much

Wow, what happened to AMC this week? Crashing from 8.4 to 6.6.. I mean, I know they used to go up and down much more than they do today, but this seems like a harsh drop (from 7th to 13th). And nice to see Y&R's first weeks
