Interesting Jamey Giddens from DC called GH the best of the four soaps and said Jean/Shelly are actually writing stories. He loved Anna/Alex and said the show has been good.

I will say Jean P has gotten really mean to GH fans that have criticized her. Ron was more bitchy diva but Jean is like really mean and will delete u/block u.

So, any comments on the Nurses Ball so far?? LOL....

I thought the "Brave" number was kind of cute....Lexi Anisworth is definitely not a singer....overall it was just to highlight Amy and Emma.....

rolled my eyes over Valentin's performance, with Stafford's constipated looks....

Josslyn is actually a decent singer though...

LOL....I guess I'm just trying to keep the ball rolling....I always have a blast revisiting the 2013-2015 Nurses Ball threads, where there was like a 50 page discussion on the entire event.

This year they aren't really trying and it shows. You can tell the actors don't give a damn about performing anymore.

This NB has been awful. I would even rather an Obrecht sketch. Emma was cute, and Josslyn has some pipes. Kristina and Valerie though...both characters are irrelevant at this point.

Still sick of Chimera...please let Franko and Nina be it's victims...

I thought James Patrick Stuart was incredible in his performance as Valentine. I loved his singing to Nina.

DAYS: March 2026 Discussion Thread

I’ve watched soaps long enough to know that you give new headwriters at least 6 months to clean up prior headwriters storylines while starting your own storylines and get the new stories moving. This headwriting team (Cwikly/Ford) has been in place for almost a year. Epic fail! The stories are so boring. After a year, Days should be popping with new energy after Ron Carlivati. That hasn’t happened. Cwikly/Ford write scenes. They don’t write stories. Days is in sad shape and never in Peacock’s Top 10. None of this matters as Days tapes almost a year ahead. I can’t imagine another year of these headwriters boring storylines.

I was gone all weekend with friends and just catching up. I'm now at Reva/Josh's wedding! They never explicitly named a best man or maid of honor (probably because of this very thing we're talking about), but Billy was there standing with Josh along with Bill, Dylan and Rusty. I remember during Josh's wedding to Annie, Matt was his best man (they actually seem to be friends here and there since they also work together).
@DRW50 - what was the Lorelei book you were talking about? Is that a real book or something in a storyline?

There was always weird tension between most of the cast of Dallas and Victoria Principal. Any time one of the cast member is asked about working with her, it's like they are walking on eggshells to be complimentary. VP rarely does any kind of reunion projects with them. Joan Rivers hated her and tried to involve Ken Kercheval in their feud when he was invited on her talk show. Joan tried calling her live on air and giving out VP telephone number for all to hear. Ken was on edge the whole time saying that he gets along with her and implied this would wreck things.
I remember reading an old interview with William Gray Espy and he stated he did not get along with Trish Stewart. Several years after he left the show, it was stated he was her house guest in a soap blurb. I assume they made up at some point.
I didn't watch AMC in the 90's, but there were rumors of Sydney Penny and Keith Hamilton Cobb despising each other.

I should try to watch in full someday. I have such PTSD from my feelings at the time. Still, I was watching, albeit taping and fast-forwarding quite a bit, which is more than I did for many later years.
1992 was very heavy but I have more of a connection to the stories and characters, even if the canvas was a bit too dense by that point.
I wish we could have seen how Marland would have handled the budget cuts (assuming he wouldn't just quit).

It was-or that was the rumor. I didn't even watch GL and I recall hearing about that lol. IIRC, one of them were gushing about their romance (Gina, I think) and suddenly we never heard about them again lol. I don't think TP or SG really ever confirmed they were dating either.
