Every time Paul and Sonny are on all I can think of is that christian claymation series from the 70s - Davey and Goliath.  They write Paul like his Sh_T don't stink; he's more pure than Sada Thomson's character on Family.  It's beyond annoying.  There's absolutely no chemistry between the actors playing Paul and Sonny at least not as written.  Clearly Ryan Quan and Rick Draughon (two out and proud gay men) have very little sway over how Dena chooses to sanitize these characters.  And shame on out and proud exec producer Greg Meng.  They all should do better than this drivel these characters have been given.  But here comes Ron Carlivati to the rescue?  His GH gay characters were awful too.

Ron's going to have Paulie. Sonny and Derrick watch Golden Girls.  Paul and Sonny's scene are written in chaste manner. Which is crazy stupid since they were once in a long term relationship. Paulson is not treated like there heterosexual counterparts.

I'll gladly take Golden Girls references as they fight over who gets to be on top that night versus the eunuchs they currently portray.

Unless you want to see them figuring out which straight man they want to force into sexual intercourse, you won't get much different from Ron.

Derrick last aired December 30. But I'm sure Ron will bring him back

I have no doubts. We'll have a triangle in no time.

That episode was filmed late august/early September of 2016 before he passed

Mascolo died of Alzheimer's complications, I'm sure that had something to do him having no lines.

It was nice seeing him one last time. And the scenes mentioned he wouldn't speak. I wonder how much time passed from those scenes until he left us?

Sonny giving Paul the 45 was cute but weird. How old is Paul? He wasn't even around when 45's were out....LOL.  And nice little smooch...crumbs...I tell u...LOL

Yesterday show was awful. Only scenes that were good were the scenes Marlena had with Stefano. Why the hell did Rafe have scenes with Stefano?

Yeah, it was awful

It was still nice seeing Stefano one last time, as well as Shawn, Belle, Austin, Carrie and Anna

Marlena's scene with Stefano should have been his last, not with smug Rafe
