DAYS Gets ANOTHER head writer change

And that's because no one, including Ken [!@#$%^&*] Corday, has never allowed DAYS to be anything but.  When you watch YT clips of golden-era DAYS from the '70's and even '80's, and then compare that to what the show became after JER....

God, I wish Al Rabin or Pat Falken Smith were still alive.

I just hope there isn't a casting blood bath, though they could stand bring some people back on a permanent basis, like most of who they've brought back and aren't keeping around, though Carrie had zilch chemistry with Rafe today, not like before, so like Daniel I hope we're finally rid of Rafe. It's so laughable anytime they try and present his and Hope's love as epic or anything of substance. Aiden and Hope as back burnered as they were had more substance!

I've watched clips from that era, buddy, and I was hoping the show was gonna get back to that point in one of its many retools but they never do. IMO, DAYS just needs to revert back to the campy 90s, which was their final golden age and stick with that. I think that Ron can excel at that.

I just hope that he does NOT do a damn DID story. Hope better not be walking around with 30 alters--Nope, Soap, Rope, Cope, and Dope. If so, I am gonna holler.

Again, this is why I am hoping Sheri has more power as a consultant than stated.

    • lol he sounds like he's speaking as Randy
    • Dani going to Bill's house is karma for how he messes with Martin. It is totally separate, but I can't feel sorry for Bill when he's constantly antagonizing a family he says he wants nothing to do with.
    • I understand what Lois did. I can see everyone's side, even if I don't agree with them.  That  proves it's a good story    Lois is far from ruined
    • Oh wow. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
    • The character of Lois has been ruined and trashed. There's no coming back from this mess. The current production and writing team have had no idea as to what made her special to begin with. She had a bit of moral fiber. Her treatment on the show is not atypical though, as most characters will get trashed, even beyond redemption, if it serves the current flavor of the month plotline.
    • No idea if this one had ever been up before or what the exact date is, but it's always good to look at/save the new AMC content while you can. If you're here for the drama there is some delirium with Adam and Erica about 10-12 minutes in.

    • I think there's a story to tell in someone who always believed in honesty and integrity being emmeshed in so many lies, but I agree that it wasn't very well laid out over the last few months. I think if I was more invested in Lois, I would have more of an issue than I do. Few can hold up against Jane. This is one of those cases where I think mentioning who already switched babies or have long-lost children would just take away from the fallout. If Lulu wants to drag Brook Lyn for hypocrisy there is probably still time (if the show bothers). I don't think anyone would claim these are the best GH episodes ever. It may be very lowered expectations at play. But I do think that scenes like yesterdays were some of Tracy's best, as she is a character who is often not allowed that type of moment.
    • You would think that, wouldn't you? I'd almost think they needed the money to get Robert Newman back, but they also had to know Larkin wasn't going to stick around and play second banana either. I don't get what the writers thought they were doing with Calla. Long liked using actors from Texas, but other than Alex/Bev McKinsey, the characters she wrote for them seemed blah.
    • Bo has a bad history with kids named Zach. (too soon?)
