Can TEB move her lips or mouth at all?

Gloria is alright in small doses but she should not be in the driving seat of this storyline...at all. DO, NOT, WANT!

 

I'm no expert on the way promos are run but it seems like Lauren's Fenmore storyline is being put as 3rd priority to the other two and the Chloe/Kevin thing is not even a storyline.

 

I've been trying to give this show the benefit of the doubt, posting critiques and kudos fairly but this is slightly disheartening looking at such a poor promo. I hope the stories pan out better than this promo but seeing Gloria take a prominent role instead of being behind Lauren, who needs to be the primary driver of this storyline, makes me have my doubts.

Nope and the SUPER unflattering blouse she wore on yesterday's show is the best argument against breast augmentation and over tanning.  She's a lizard!

I was hoping that, as part of the 'revitalization' of Fenmores, someone (Phyllis?) would suggest a makeover for Lauren to update her look. Phyllis herself can be brassy, but that's beside the point.

 

Lauren needs a haircut, something that complements her bone structure and she would benefit from a suit, or dress or skirt/pants/blouse wardrobe that is edgy and subtlely sexy, not trashy. Let's begin right there!

That side-bouffant pony she wore on Thurs/Friday's episodes weren't working for her- they looked much better on Mary Ann in Gilligan's Island.

Whose bright idea was to bring her back? Cause it was terrible. I am already sick of her again!

I was so embarrassed when I saw Kevin and Chloe. Chloe is, to me, one of the worst characters in the history of Y&R.

The sad part is, he was just fine as the dangerous, murderous pedophile. Even when he was made into Michael's brother, they could have had a lot of drama with that (even using him to further redempt Michael), before writing him off.

 

He went from trying to burn young girls alive to being a pretend lovable, quorky hero, in ten seconds flat. Was, is, and always will be horrifying. 

I will NEVER get over Y&R having him refer to Neil & Dru as "evil vampires" with Michael hand waving it away.

I've been hoping for a Lauren makeover for years. She looks trashy.  She needs to be dressing more like Brooke on BB.

I think Kevin was definitely at his best when he first appeared on YR and was evil. They should've continued on with the dark side of Kevin and build from there.  Then eventually write him off instead of trying to transform him into this bad guy gone good.  Some characters are meant to only run for a certain length of time.  There are characters that are meant to be and have longevity for years and years.  Then there are characters who are supposed to be there for 6 months to a year or 2, but that's it.  I believe Kevin was supposed and should have been one of those characters.  Gloria was cool to have around and at the very beginning, truly worked.  I like that they did bring her back because there is much that can be done with her.  However, where they messed up was with different pairings or romantically pairing her with some men.  They haven't always integrated her with the right characters in my opinion.  YR may also need to look into bringing back some of their older characters from the past and building new history and revisiting old history from there.  For example, bring back some Brooks and Fosters or their children would be a start.

 

I saw a interview with KA where she spoke about a story they never thought would work but "the kid (GR) made it work". I think cause of that success, TPTB might have a respect for GR that keeps him around.
