I hope they don't kill him. Not cause I want a recast but cause I don't want Sharon blamed.

I've mainly liked the writing so far; there's still quite a lot of damage to repair. The one thing I can't understand- if you've been systematically destroying Sharon's character for years, why once again put the blame on her? That part is lazy. But maybe we're wrong.

They might play it differently with everyone rallying around her instead of demonizing her.

One thing that SS could've done to ensure that Sharon was seen as more sympathetic to everyone was if SS had written Sharon as trying to enlist Nikki's help in getting Dylan not to leave- (I mean that would really show how much she wanted him not to go, if she's asking Nikki's help) and either have Nikki not get to Dylan in time (maybe Sharon can't find Nikki and has to leave a message, which Nikki only hears when it's too late) or Nikki gets to Dylan to encourage him to stay but is unsuccessful.

MTS and SC have great chemistry and even though their characters have spent most of their history on opposing sides, when Sharon and Nikki put their differences aside, if only temporarily (as when they crawled down into that sewer during that Cameron Kirsten storyline), it can be so entertaining!

Agreed. I remember them in the sewer. It added a totally different layer to their relationship.

I did think Devon remembering would be done on a bigger way. I was surprised it was done on a random Friday (not sweeps) and in such a lackluster manner with Mariah telling him in general conversation.  I get them having mariah be the one to tell it to push this dumb rivalry that doesn't even work imo, but it wasn't even dramatic. The show could have done better.

Their break up scenes were good IMO. I liked the quiet storm tone. It worked.

They should have made Devon fake his amnesia so that he could trick Hillary.

If Darn and I bought a banner screaming JUST IGNORE HIM, would you people consider it? Or is wasting everyone's time really that important?

Ignore who?

A certain poster who posts outrageous statements just to get a reaction. Previously said poster usually contained his posts to the threads about a particular show, but recently he's started infiltrating other threads when fewer people responded to him.

Oh, I said 'ignore who?' because I ignore that person.

How would that work out? When the doctor told her not to tell him anything right now.

Yeah. But to what end? To get her you sign a post nup?

Devon already knows Hilary was lying to him. Seems a waste unless there is an end game goal.

Yeah. At least Devon is mad at everyone for lying and not just hilary. He can't hold it against her if he doesn't hold it against everyone.

Having Devon trying to trick Hillary is a terrible idea.

A post-nup would accomplish absolutely nothing because Wisconsin is a community property state. Like most other states with those laws, windfalls like jackpot winnings and inheritances are not part of community property, and any property bought with those funds is not owned communally. Hilary wouldn't get a big financial reward in a divorce.

I'm hoping the writers will spin this into a deeper story than the usual lame soap amnesia fluff. There are some pieces already in play that could make for a good yarn if they'll write it.

We know that. But that is not, nor has it ever been, how the show has played this situation with Devon and Hilary. The entire family has wrung collective hands over Hilary taking devon to the cleaners in a divorce. It's funny because neither Hilary nor Devon ever consult lawyers when break ups loom.

maybe once he regained his memory of that night, faking like he still had amnesia to see how long it would take her to tell him the truth about what happened.
