They wont be they were just renewed for their riveting writing. I could see them at GH for years to come. Jean longest gig was ATWT she was there close to 10 years.  Shelly is a dollbaby as her boss Nathan Varni wished her a happy birthday.  If for any reason they go its because another soap wants them. Some YR fans clamoring for Shellys return to YR as people saw her vision very close to bill bell.

Once again Johnny, Contracts mean NOTHING. ABC can get rid of them every 13 weeks. So they are not safe

Altman/pissant have improved GH...but I wouldnt say theyre savants at soap writing...though if theyre the cause Michelle Stafford toning down the acting tics...then they deserve an award of sorts lol

Meh!  He always says GH is the best soap.  It is his favorite soap.  Just like I think Y&R was the best soap because it is my favorite.  

Well, between all four soaps basically being trash for most if not all of 2016 it's hard to pick a "good" one. GH was maybe the least offensive? LOL. But yeah it's clearly his favorite and he's nothing but a kiss ass.

Nina had already gone way over the top. There was nothing left then to mellow the character. She should have been let go. She is just taking up a paycheck for someone else deserving of it.

Most likely Jean and Shelly will depart GH in the near future.

 

Their edgy, smart writing has HBO,Netflix etc clamoring for their talents - probably offering huge $$$ to buy them out of their contracts at ABC and letting them loose to create 22nd century drama.

I wasn't active on here during 2014 but were the Y&R boards swamped with this crap when Altman and Passanante wrote for that?
