I read that the fee is $30,000 --- $15,000 for the ceremony and $15,000 for the upkeep of the star.  Ironic that the real reason for the show's early success can be seen standing next to Ms. Hall. in some of the pictures -- Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes.
