Ha…not a chance….Pierce may be bad but Ryan Peevey is the worst.

Unfortunately true

Teehee …he is just a walking stick with a smile….LOL

I think Ryan from Passions is actually ok as an actor and would love to see him back in daytime. Jesse is just awful….on DH he was hired as eye candy with his tee off every minute of that show and in Dallas…he should never been cast as Christopher…whoever the casting director was lost his mind casting him in that pivotal role.

Chit…you are awesome….bwahahahaha….agree with both of your statements.

Could number 1 be….well he isn't a hunk and doesn't have a good bod….but his acting does suck and I can see the EP telling him to get acting lessons…JPL of Days?? He is horrible as Phillip. He still stutters his lines and speeds through them at warp speed.

maybe, 1. Robert Palmer Watkins? LOL

LMAO, nope. I can only assume you don't watch both shows? RP may be 'bad' but the peeps he's opposite (most of the time) aren't that much better, so it's whatever. PF otoh is constantly bringing his scenes with LG and TK to a grinding halt w/ his crazy eyes, and lack of even charisma

The first Ethan managed to make a living as an actor, not a star but he got work.   Justin Hartley was for many years in primetime, not sure why he went back to Y&R.    Even if it is only three, that is three more than the emmy winning acting sensations of GH.

i'm sorry, but just by virtue of who he acts opposite (regularly) RP is a 'better' actor than PF on B&B. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

huh? They've been front-burner on a SL for months. Sure, the SL has been lowkey/slowburn but I wouldn't call them back-burnered.

Wow..do you have inside knowledge of this? I don't consider Matt Cohen a hunk but he is good looking……or what was the clue again?…LOL

Yeah Travis Schuldt has worked post Passions…...

I'm not knocking any soap actors who manage to make it - and a few horrible actors do (Jesse Metcalfe, one of the worst actors ever), but most Passions hunks tended to stay in daytime and just a few made it to primetime.

    • If NBC could have for seen the ratings of Lovers & Friends (the replacement for Somerset).. they would have for sure kept Somerset on the air longer. https://jason47.com/days/ratings1976.html  (ratings for Somerset in the final year) https://jason47.com/days/ratings1977.html (ratings for Lovers & Friends short run...getting as low as a 2 rating).

    • I liked them, too, and was really disappointed it never went anywhere. The whole art theft story was ridiculous, but they had a nice chemistry. Certainly nicer than Alan with Christine. With her, he looked like the funny uncle. The worst thing they did to Bolger, IMO, was having Phillip write that DREADFUL novel and dramatizing it while he wrote it. GAG, that has to be in the running for one of their worst storylines that didn't involve wacky things like clones or time travel. Soaps rarely do school storylines, or don't do them for very long. Not the case so much in the early days of soaps, but after GH took off in the late 70s other soaps took their lead and would catapult teens/young adults into adult stories right away. That's one reason Phillip and Mindy ended up with so many ex-spouses--they started getting married really young. They shipped Dina and Cameron off really fast after high school and stuck Alan Michael in a marriage storyline with Harley. Did he EVER go to college? I don't think so. It may also partly explain why Quint and Annabelle had to go, beyond TPTB wanting to do a cast sweep. Teaching is not a profession that plays well on a soap. Quint definitely had to quit being Indiana Jones, because that wore thin really fast, but they didn't do him favors by making him a professor. If they wanted to keep him, they should have done what they did with Amanda (who was in another dead-end soap job, concert pianist)--have him work at Spaulding as one of the major stockholders.
    • Judith McConnell (Augusta) and Denise Alexander (Lesley) were great screen partners on GH.  They got into some stellar arguments in character in the medicine room.
    • He also commented that Brad knows that fans are sick of the constant fake deaths on this show: Finn, Sheila, etc and that it's hard to take this seriously if it's another fake death

    • I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam. He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
    • I think we all will, isn't that how soaps work? lol
    • ^^ I'll believe it when it actually happens.
